Dadurch, daß sich oben an den Kunststoffunterteil der Drahtkorb anschließt, bietet sich Gelegenheit, den Flugraum des Käfigs durch Verwendung verschiedener geeigneter Formen von Drahtkörben beliebig zu gestalten. Durch die Verwendung der üblichen Drahtstäbe ist die Sicht auf den Vogel so gut wie bei den bekannten Drahtkäfigen.
