;"".'Es hat sich gezeigt, dass Llifterabdeckhauberi aus Blech,
ins-
besondere Stahlblech, die miit Lufteintrittsöffnungen versehen
sind, bei Elektromotoren die z. B für den Einsatz in Textil-
.'betrieben Verwendung finden, nicht immer geeignet sind, da
die
in der Raumluft enthaltenen Faserteilchen die bisher gewöhn-
lich ausgestanzten Öffnungen leicht verstopfen. Man hat daher
;-in. solchen Fallen bisher meist die wesentlich teuerere Gus.

haube. verwenden müssen. Die Neuerung zeigt nun, wie solche
Lüfterabdeckhauben aus Stahlblech od. dgl auszubilden sind

damit sie such in solchen schwierigen Fällen Verwendung finden
. kennen..
. Gemäss der Neuerung ist zu diesem Zweck die Lüfterabdeckhaube
'in der Weise ausgebildet, dass die Ränder der Lufteintritt-
Öffnungen in Richtung des eintretenden Luftstromcs umgebogen
sind, sodass die Führungskanäle von trichterartigem Querschnitt
für dn eintr tenden Luftstrom bilden. Hierbei sind c'Le Rander
der Lufteintrittsöffnungen vorteilh3ft so u ; ngeboen, dass
sie
pHrallelandio Kanäle umschliecsen. Die in der Rulft schwe-
benden Faserteilchen v/erden dann mit dem Luftstrom durch die
so
gebildeten Kanäle mit grosser Geschwindigkeit hindurchgetrieben
und es'.. ird dabei ein festhalten der Faserteilchen am Eintritt
der Kanäle bzw. innerhalb derselben verhütet. Die Faserstoff-
teilchen werden vielmehr mit den durch den Lüfter geforderten
Kühlluftstrom wieder auc dem Motor herausgetragen sodass eine
