Description
Betr. : Schlackenentferner für Schweißelektroden Beschreibung ? Der in der Zeichnung dargestellte Schlackenentferner für Schweißelektroden entspricht dem Bedürfnis der Elektro-Schweißer, nach jedem Absetzen der Schweißelektroden die an deren Spitze zurückgebliebenen Schlackenreste zu entfernen. Dieses geschieht bisher entweder durch einfaches Aufschlagen der Elektrode, wobei Spritzer und unsaubere Stellen am Werkstück entstehen, oder mittels einer eigenst dazu bestimmten Elektrodenzange, mit der die Schlacke abgeknipst wird, damit der blanke Teil der Elektrode aus der Ummantelung hervorsteht. Der der Anmeldung zu Grunde liegende Schlackenentferner geht von dem Grundsatz aus, zunächst dem Schweißer kein zusätzliches Werkzeug zuzumuten, als seinen Schweißhandspiegel und seine Schweißzange, damit er nicht eines von beiden aus der Hand zu legen braucht. Der am Handspiegel angebrachte Schlackenentferner zeigt einen Bügel., nach Teil 1 der Zeichnung, an dessen unterer Seite mehrere Löcher verschiedener Größe, entsprechend der verschiedenen Elektrodenstücke, angebracht sind. Wenig entfernt von diesem befindet sich ein Blech, nach Teil 2 der Zeichnung., das für das Durchstecken der Elektroden auf das notwendige Maß beschränkt ist.. Der Vorgang zum Entfernen der Schlacke selbst, ist folgender. : Mantelelektrode mit Schlacke wird in das entsprechende Loch an der Unterseite des Bügels gesteckt und stößt zwangsläufig gegen das Blech, Teil 2 der Zeichnung.
