Es ist bekannt die zwischen dem Motorraumblech und dem Vorderradschutzblech

Art der Befestigung entstehen jedoch Schwierigkeiten beim Zusammenbau, da nur sehr
schwer von unten her die Muttern zu erreichen sind.
Nach der Neuerung wird nun vorgeschlagen, das Vorderrad-

schutzblech über das Motorraumblech zu ziehen und zwar@so, dass im Querschnitt betrachtet
die aufeinanderliegenden Blechteile ein dachförmiges, nach unten zum Motorraum hin
offenes Winkelprofil bilden und diese an ihrer nach aussen ferichteten Schrägseite
miteinander fest verbunden, z.B. verschraubt sind. Durch das dadurch entstehende,
vom Vorderradschutzblech und Motorraumblech gebildete Winkelprofil erfahren beide
Karosserieteile und damit der gesamte Karosserie-Vorderteil eine wesentliche Versteifung.
Dabei verläuft. das unterhalb der Befestigungsnaht liegende Motorraumblech annähernd
senkrecht nach unten, während das Vorderradschutzblech nach oben hin zur Bildung
einer Wasserablaufrinne abgewinkelt ist und zur Aufnahme des unten eben- : falls
abgewinkelten Randes des Motorhaubenblechea dient, Zweckmässigerweise kann der Platz
innerhalb des motorraums unterhalb des dachförmigen Profils als Kabelkanal benutzt

5 fest verbunden sind, wobei in an sich bekannte. r wleise ein Gummiköder 6 als
Dichtung zwischen den beiden Blechteilen, dem Motorraumbleoh 2 und dem Vorderradschutzblech
1 angeordnet ist. An die Befestigungsnaht anschliessend verläuft das Motorraumblech
2 im wesentlichen senkrecht nach unten, während das Vorderradschutzblech 1 schräg
nach oben abgewinkelt ist, zur Bildung einer Wasserablaufrinne 7 zusammen mit der
Schrägfläche 4'. In diese Rinne legt sich gleichfalls der nach unten abgewinkelte
Rand 8 des Motorhaubenbleches 9, sodass das in Pfeilrichtung von der Karosserie
abfliessende Wasser durch die Rinne 7 nach hinten abgeführt wird. Durch diese besonders
vorteilhafte Ausbildung der Stoßstelle zwischen dem Motorraumblech 2 und dem Vorderradschutzblech
1 ist eine schnelle und einfache Montage des Schutzbleches möglich. Unterhalb des
