Description
The invention relates to a method for producing a base material from waste fibers for further processing to artificial leather, filter fabrics, etc.
Mischungen. It is known to produce such a material by impregnating fibrous sheet-like structures with binders to manufacture. However, useful products for the above-mentioned purposes are only obtained from Impregnation ", of fleeces made from valuable fiber material or mixtures.
It is also known to strengthen nonwovens by sewing. Such sewn nonwovens are, however unsuitable for artificial leather because of their low strength and the non-leathery appearance due to the surface character of the textile weave. It is also known to impregnate needled fleeces and to be used for further processing into artificial leather. However, one cannot do all of them Process waste fibers into needle punched nonwovens.
The invention is based on the object of a process for the production of the above starting materials to find out from waste fibers, i.e. from any cheap fiber material.
The object was achieved by the combination of the following steps, known per se, that a loose fleece is sewn from any waste fibers, then roughened on both sides and then with one or more times impregnated with a binding agent or solidified thermally or by partially dissolving the fibers.
For this purpose, a fleece made of any waste fiber material must first be sewn to to give it sufficient strength for further processing. This can be done using known stitchbonding methods happen. The insertion of a feltable thread skeleton is also suitable, however the threads are not sewn to the fleece, but rather are laid out between fleece layers. To the Laying longitudinal seams invisible in the interior of the fleece is the material then treated on both sides by known roughing methods so that the roughened pile is uniform preserved on both sides ur> d thereby hides the seams. At the same time you get a voluminous and soft raw material for further processing.
After roughening, the fibrous surface structures are coated with a common binding agent such as latex, Acrylic resin or polyurethane (polymers in general), impregnated.
By choosing the fiber material or binder, these products can improve their technological values be influenced, e.g. B. highly absorbent, short stretched, high strength, porosity and breathability. Due to such possibilities, such products can be used for chamois leather, Slip straps, lining leather, lining materials, filters: media, carpet underlay, etc.
Lederersatz verwendet weiden. If they are then provided with a top coat (finish), they can be used as artificial leather or Leather substitute used willow.
The advantages achieved by the invention are that nonwovens are made from any waste fiber material can be processed in the same way. Short cotton waste fibers can e.g. B. at high fleece weights can only be sewn, not needled. The inventive method is thus superior to the known method, since it can be carried out independently of the type of initial fleece is. By sewing a fleece made of inferior fibers with a highly tear-resistant one Synthetic thread can furthermore receive a strength in the running direction of the thread which is about corresponds to the strength of the thread used. M? N can do this with subsequent impregnation get by with less binder.
