Fig.
in Verbindung.

Electronic ignition safety device The invention relates to an electronic ignition safety device for devices heated with gaseous or liquid fuels with a starting circuit having an electromagnetic relay, which includes a timer containing a capacitor, a resistor and an electronic switching path for maintaining a flushing time, and with an automatic high frequency Ignition device with at least one ignition spark gap assigned to the burner. Eine.derarti ' ge ignition safety device is known (Austrian patent specification 229 472). An ignition transformer is required as an independent component, and several cold cathode tubes are used to monitor the burner flames, the cooperation of which requires a relatively cumbersome circuit. A relay provided in the starting circuit with a bimetal release is also an unfavorable component, because the bimetal does not allow sufficient time accuracy, in particular with fluctuating ambient temperatures. Other known electronic ignition safety devices are based on the use of a photocell, photoresistor or the like, which should be arranged as close as possible to the burner flame in order to achieve perfect detection of the flame image. On the other hand, however, photocells are known to be quite heat-sensitive, so that in many cases they cannot be arranged in the vicinity of the flame or special devices must be provided in order to obtain a transfer of the flame image to the photocell. There is also the possibility that a photocell is simulated a film image so that the actual task of the photocell cannot be fulfilled. The sooting of a photocell arranged in the vicinity of a flame also constitutes a not inconsiderable disadvantage, so that ignition safety devices equipped with photocells cannot guarantee a satisfactory function in every case. For this reason, it has already been proposed to design an ignition safety device of the type mentioned with a flame electrode in the lead so that the capacitor of the timing element provided in the start circuit is arranged in the ignition circuit as an energy store. The capacitor inserted in the starting and ignition circuits is connected in series with the primary winding of a high-frequency transformer serving as an ignition element, and a series connection is formed in parallel to both of them from an electronic switching path and the excitation winding of the starting relay, with the starting circuit having a rectifier and a charging resistor assigned and the charging resistor can be connected to the Stromversobgling via a contact pair of a monitoring relay. It is also provided that between the. Switching path and the excitation winding of the start relay a diode is arranged, with a resistor leading from the connection point of the diode and the excitation winding of the start relay to a holding contact of the start relay. Another suggestion is that the two charging resistors used for charging the capacitor are arranged in a series circuit in the start circuit, but after the start relay has responded and its contacts switched to the ignition position, only the current charging resistor is provided for charging the capacitor. The first charging resistor is bridged by a diode after the start relay has responded and its contacts have been switched to the ignition position via a normally open contact of the start relay. It is also provided that the release winding of a locking switch after switching to the ignition position is connected to a load resistor that limits a safety time via a switching contact of the relay, which the latter is connected to the excitation winding of one in the fuel line in the event of a further switchover to the operating position arranged solenoid valve is provided. In addition, it has already been proposed in an ignition safety device of the type mentioned that the starting circuit in series consists of an NTC resistor, a one-way rectifier and the excitation winding assigned to the start relay, the latter with a smoothing capacitor connected in parallel, and the ignition circuit with a charging resistor is assigned, which is connected in series to a further half-wave rectifier and an ignition capacitor after the start relay has responded and its contacts switched to the ignition position, the latter being a series retention of an electronic switching path and the primary winding of the high-frequency device serving as the ignition element Transformer is connected in parallel. The object of the invention is now to create an ignition safety device of the type mentioned above, which can be easily adapted to the respective performance of heated devices with widely differing performances and, with automatic start-up and monitoring of the device, ensures that after a predetermined purge time and a subsequent ignition is ignited the flame and is monitored or triggered a lockout at nichterfolgtem ignition after expiry of safety period. This object is achieved according to the invention in that a second electronic timer for limiting the ignition time is connected downstream of the electronic timer for keeping the flushing time, and a third electronic timer for keeping a switch-off time is connected in parallel to both timers. Furthermore, it is provided according to the invention that a series connection of an electronic switching path and the release winding of a locking switch arranged in front of the starting and ignition device is applied to the current conductor leading from the monitoring device to the plasma electrode. In this way, the sequence of the starting and ignition process can be set with or without a repetition of ignition and the device can be used to a large extent for devices of different power. In this case, not only a single ignition attempt is carried out, but a certain number of ignition repetitions can be carried out automatically, but if ignition has not occurred, the device is automatically switched off. It is essential that the safety circuit is switched on at the same time as the ignition circuit, so that the ignition repetitions are precisely determined before switching off is effected if the ignition has not taken place. The subject matter of the invention is described in an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawing. 1 is a schematic representation of an ignition safety device formed according to the invention in the starting position; Fig. 2 is the same representation in the Zündetellung of the device and - Fid.3 is again the same view in the operating position of the device. The ignition safety device shown schematically in the drawing is assigned to a gas-heated device in the preferred embodiment shown, which is provided with a pilot burner and a main burner, as well as a solenoid valve each arranged in the gas supply line of the pilot burner and the main burner. Of course, an ignition safety device designed according to the invention can also be connected to a device of a different type, which is heated, for example, with liquid fuel and is provided with one or more burners. The ignition safety device is mounted on a base plate which, according to FIG. 1, is indicated by the dash-dotted line 10 . The ignition safety device is operated with alternating current and is connected to the power supply network via terminals 119 12 and 13 , for example, at a location remote from the installation site of the device. A fuse 15 and a main switch 16 are inserted in the current conductor 14 extending from the terminal 11 , with the aid of which the ignition fuse device can be operated remotely from a location remote from the burner. Behind the main switch 16 , a thermostat 17 can be inserted in the conductor 14, which, in a manner known per se, causes the ignition safety device and thus the device to be triggered depending on the desired temperature. From the main switch 16 or the thermostat 17, the current conductor 14 leads to a terminal 18 which is attached to the base plate 10 on the input side of the ignition safety device. From the terminal 12, the central conductor 19 also leads to a terminal 20 on the base plate 10 of the device, wherein a switch 21 can be built into this central conductor 19 , which can be operated from a schematically illustrated gas and / or air deficiency fuse 22 is. The protective or earth conductor 23 leads from the terminal 13 to a terminal 24, which is arranged in the same way as the terminals 18 and 20 on the input side of the ignition safety device. A motor 25, for example for driving a fan, can optionally be connected between the terminals 18 and 20 at the input of the ignition safety device. In connection to the terminals 18, 20 and 24 is first generally arranged on the base plate 10 of the Zündsicherungsvorrichtung a 30 designated Funkentstöreinrichtung which suppression inductors employed in known manner from the conductor 14 and into the center conductor 19 31, and between This conductor inserted capacitors 32 consists. In connection with this radio interference suppression device 30 , a starting and ignition device 35 and a monitoring device 36 are arranged on the base plate 10 . Behind the radio interference suppression device 30 , the conductor 14 leads to the input contact of a locking switch 37, which after a triggering process caused by a malfunction can only be switched on again by hand and thereby prevents the otherwise automatic function priority of the ignition safety device. A current conductor 39 leads from the exit contact of the locking switch 37 to a changeover contact 40, which is coupled to the actuating member 41 of a relay 42 belonging to the monitoring device 36. Depending on the state of the monitoring relay 42, the changeover contact 40 is connected to a normally closed contact 43 or a normally open contact 44. A further Umschaltkonif.-act 45 is coupled to the actuating element 41 of the monitoring relay 42, which establishes a connection either with a normally closed contact 46 or with a normally open contact 47. A current conductor 48 leads from the normally closed contact 43 to a half-wave rectifier 49 and from there via a current conductor 50 to a further changeover contact 51, which is coupled to the actuating member 52 of a relay 53 belonging to the starter device. Depending on the state of this start relay 53 , the changeover contact 51 is connected either to a normally closed contact 54 or to a normally open contact 55 . On the same actuator 52, a further change-over contact 56 is coupled, which either ein.Oni Rullekontakt 57 or a normally-open contact 58 in connection from the rest contact 54 from 59 performs a current conductor to a vor'zugstweise adjustable charging resistor 609 which via conductors 61 and 62 with a rest contact 63 is in connection, which is connected via a changeover contact 64 to a current conductor 65 which is connected to a current conductor 66 . The current conductor 62 also establishes a connection with the normally closed contact 46. The current conductor 66 is connected on the one hand to the changeover contact 45 and on the other hand leads to one pole of a starting capacitor 67, the other pole of which is connected to the central point conductor 19 via a current conductor 68 with the interposition of a protective resistor 69. The current conductor 50 leading to the changeover contact 51 also leads to one pole of a smoothing capacitor 70, the other pole of which is connected to the center point conductor 19 via a current conductor 71 . A current conductor 72 is connected to the current conductor 71 , to which, on the one hand, a working contact 74 is connected, to which the changeover contact 64 can be applied. The conductor 72 leads. also to the working contact 47, which can be brought into connection with the changeover contact 45 by means of the actuating element 41 of the monitoring relay 42. The related either to the normally closed contact 63 or the make contact 74 changeover contact 64 is coupled to a Betätigungeglied 75 which can be moved by a relay 76 from which to start the Sicherheitskreie - heard and igniter 35th

10 in Verbindung steht.
so daso
A current conductor 81 is connected to the normally open contact 55 , from which a current conductor 82 branches off to a holding resistor 83 , which is connected via a current conductor 84 to an opener 85 which is connected to a normally closed contact 66 . The break contact 85 is coupled to the actuating member 75 of the safety relay 76 , which can also move the changeover contact 64 at the same time. A current conductor 112 branches off from the current conductor 39 between the locking switch 37 and the changeover contact 40, which leads to the normally open contact 58 , which comes into contact with the changeover contact 56 when the start relay 53 is energized. A current conductor 113 'leads from the normally open contact 44 to the normally closed contact 57 which is in the corresponding state of the starter relay 53 via the change-over contact 56 having a conductor 114 in connection, which leads to a Kle = e 115, to which one end of the exciting coil of a solenoid valve is connected 117 via a conductor 116, the other end is connected to the midpoint conductor 19 via a current conductor 118 and a terminal 119 , while the valve body of the solenoid valve 117 is connected to the protective or earth conductor 23 via the conductor 120 and a terminal 121. From the current conductor 113 leading to the normally closed contact 57 , a current conductor 122 is branched off, which leads to a terminal 123 , to which one end of the excitation winding of a further solenoid valve 125 can be clamped via a current conductor 124. The other end of the excitation winding, this solenoid valve 125 is connected via a current conductor 126 and a clamp 127 having a center conductor d 19th The valve body of the solenoid valve 125 is connected to the protective or earth conductor 23 via a conductor 128 and a terminal 129. A current conductor 130 branches off from the current conductor 114 and leads to the monitoring device 36. This is on the other hand connected to the center conductor 19 , namely by a conductor 131 inserted between the center conductor 19 and one end of the excitation winding of the monitoring relay 42. The other end of the excitation winding of the monitoring relay 42 is connected to the cathode via a conductor 132 133 is connected to a cold cathode tube 134 serving as a controllable electronic conductive path, the anode 135 of which is connected to the current conductor 130 via a current conductor 136, a limiting resistor 137 and a current conductor 138. A current conductor 139 leads from the current conductor 136 to a bleeder resistor 140 and a further bleeder resistor 141 and from this via a current conductor 142 to the current conductor 122. The wall covering 143 of the cold cathode tube 134 is connected between the bleeder resistors 140 and 141. The control electrode 144 of the cold cathode tube 134 is connected to a voltage divider resistor 146 via a current conductor 145. This is connected via a current conductor 147 to a further voltage divider resistor 148, which in turn is connected to the midpoint conductor 19 via a current conductor 149. A current conductor 150 is connected to the current conductor 145 between the control electrode 144 of the cold cathode tube 134 and the voltage divider resistor 146, which leads to the dinen pole of a tilt capacitor 151 , the other pole of which via a current conductor 152 with the current conductor 132 between the monitoring relay 42 and the cathode 133 of the cold cathode tube 134 is connected. From the conductor 147, a conductor 153 branches off between the two voltage divider resistors 146 and 148 to a resistor 154 which, on the other hand, is connected via a conductor 155 to a terminal 156 on the output side of the base plate 10 . A current conductor 157 branches off from the current conductor 155 to one pole of a gas discharge tube 158 , the other pole of which is connected via a current conductor 159 to a current conductor 160 which is branched off from the current conductor 48 between the normally closed contact 43 and the half-wave rectifier 49. An adjustable load resistor 161 is inserted into the current conductor between the branch point on the current conductor 48 and the connection point of the current conductor 159. In addition, one end of the release angle 162 of the interlocking switch 37 is connected to the connection point between the conductors 159 and 160 , the other end of which is connected to the midpoint conductor 19 . The current conductor 130 is led up to a terminal 163 arranged on the output side of the base plate 10 ; Earth conductor 23 connected to such a terminal 164. The valve body of the solenoid valve 117 is inserted into an ignition line 166 branched off from a fuel supply line 165 , which leads to a pilot burner 167 , the housing of which is connected via a conductor 168 to the terminal 164 of the protective or earth conductor 23 . Behind the branch of the ignition line 166 , the valve body of the solenoid valve 125 is inserted into the main line 1A9, which forms the continuation of the fuel supply line 165 and which leads to a schematically illustrated main burner 170 of a device heated by gas in the illustrated embodiment, so that the main burner 170 from Pilot burner 167 can be ignited. To ignite the pilot burner 167 , an ignition electrode 171 is used, which is connected via a current conductor 172 to the terminal 110 on the base plate 10, which is connected via the current conductor 109 to the secondary winding 107 of the high-frequency transformer 104 serving as an ignition element. A current conductor 173 is led from the terminal 156 to a plasma electrode 174, which is arranged in the area of the flame of the pilot burner 167 . A further flame electrode 175 is arranged opposite the flame electrode 174, likewise in the area of the flame of the pilot burner 167 , which is connected to the terminal 163 on the edge of the base plate 10 via a current conductor 176 . The connection to the monitoring device 36 is established by the flame electrodes 174 and 175. The mode of operation of the ignition safety device described in the structure above is as follows: Provided that the power supply network supplies electricity and the ignition safety device is connected to the power supply network via terminals 18, 20 and 24 and that the gas supply is also without interference, so the one that may be provided and switch 21 in the center conductor 19 to be operated from a gas and / or air deficiency fuse 22 is closed, the ignition safety device is started up by closing the main switch 16 in the conductor 14, whereby it is also assumed that a thermostat is built into this conductor 17 assumes a closed position with its switch, as the figures show. As a result, the current flows through the conductor 14, the locking switch 37, the conductor 39, the changeover contact 40, the break contact 43 and the conductor 48 to the one-way rectifier 49. From there, the current flows over the conductor 50, the changeover contact 51, the normally closed contact 54, the current conductor 59, the charging resistor 60, the current conductors 61 and 62, the normally closed contact 63, the changeover contact 64, the current conductor 65 and the current conductor 66 to the starting capacitor 67, which is charged until the breakdown voltage of the gas discharge tube 78 is reached which is connected to the conductor 61 via the conductor 77 . Through the tipping discharge . of the starting capacitor 67 , the starting relay 53 is energized, so that the actuating element 52 connected to its armature in a force-locking manner is moved and the switching contacts 51 and 56 are switched over . The time from switching on the device to switching over the two switching contacts 51 and 56 represents the start or flushing time, which results from the time constant Tl, which corresponds to the product of the resistance value of the charging resistor 60 and the capacitance of the starting capacitor 67 switching over to the ignition position gemäas Figure 2, the current from flowing half-wave rectifier 49 from now on the changeover contact 51, the normally open contact 55, the conductor 81 and the conductor 82 for holding resistor 83, from which now has the conductor 84, the opener 85 the normally closed contact 86, the conductor 87 and the conductor 79, the start relay 53 is held in the energized position. The current flowing through the switch in the conductor 81 simultaneously reaches the charging resistor 97, which charges the ignition capacitor 99 via the current conductor 98 until the breakdown voltage of the gas discharge tube 101 is reached. The tilting discharge takes place and is diverted to the center point conductor 19 via the primary coil 103 of the high-frequency transformer 104. The secondary winding 107 of the high-frequency transformer 104, which is excited as a result, emits the high-frequency high-voltage energy to the ignition electrode 171 , from which sparks jump to the housing of the pilot burner 167 so that the gas emerging from the pilot burner 167 can be ignited. The gas exit at the pilot burner 167 occurs approximately at the same time as the point formation, since switching over the actuating member 52 also moves the switchover contact 56 and has established a connection to the normally open contact 58 ', which receives current from the conductor 39 via the conductor 112, the from the working contact 58 via the changeover contact 56 and the current conductor 114 to the terminal 115 and via the current conductor 116 to the excitation winding of the solenoid valve 117 , which brings the valve body arranged in the ignition line 166 into the open position, so that when the sparks jump between the ignition electrode 171 and the housing of the pilot burner 167, fuel emerges from the pilot burner 167. As soon as the pilot flame is burning, the effect of the flame ionization creates an electrical line between the flame electrodes 174 and 175 , which initiates the monitoring function of the monitoring device 36 as a function of the burning or ionized pilot flame. Through the electrical line established between the flame electrodes 174 and 175 , from the flame electrode 175 applied to the Stromversorg.ung via the conductor 173, the terminal 156, the conductor 155, the resistor 154, the conductor 153, the voltage divider resistor 146 and the current conductors 145 and 150 of the breakover capacitor 151 are charged until the starter ignition voltage is reached between the control electrode 144 and the cathode 143 of the cold cathode tube 134, so that ionization takes place between them. This also ignites the main section of the cold cathode tube 134 between the anode 135 and the cathode 133 and the monitoring relay 42 is energized. When the monitoring relay 42 is energized, its actuating element 41 is moved so that the changeover contact 40 comes into contact with the normally open contact 44. As a result, that part of the starting and ignition device 35 located downstream of the half-wave rectifier 51 is de-energized, ie

In this position, the solenoid valve 117 would no longer be held in the open position via the previous flow path. However, since the normally open contact 44 receives current by switching over the actuating member 41, it continues to flow via the conductor 113, the normally closed contact 57, the changeover contact 56 and the conductor 114 to the terminal 115 and to the excitation winding of the solenoid valve 117, so that the valve body of the solenoid valve 117 remains open in the ignition line 166. At the same time, the terminal 123 also receives current from the conductor 113 via the conductor 122, so that the excitation winding of the solenoid valve 125 is also excited and the valve body of the solenoid valve 125 arranged in the main line 169 is brought into its open position, whereby fuel arrives at the main burner 170 which the fuel is ignited by the pilot flame burning on the pilot burner 167. This operating position according to FIG. 3 is maintained as long as the ignition safety device is supplied with current for t> CD or the flame is burning at the pilot burner 167. During operation, the pilot flame is monitored continuously at the pilot burner 167, dp only when burning pilot flame dte flame ionization is produced and thereby the Überwachuneseinrichtune 36 is held by the Flammenelek-W cm trodes 174 and 175 from operating, whereby the monitoring relay 4.2 the position of the actuator 41 ti with the changeover contacts 40 and 45 in the operating position shown in Figure 3 is maintained. As soon as the main switch 16 is brought into the open position by hand or, if necessary, the switch operated by the thermostat 17 and inserted into the conductor 14, the ignition safety device is de-energized. The same thing happens in the event of a power failure. Characterized the power supply to the respective parts of the device sets, so that the monitoring relay 42 drops and the change-over as a result, the actuator 41 40 and 45 to the initial position gemäas Figure 1 moved back. The valve bodies of the solenoid valves 117 and 125 also immediately go into their closed position, so that the flames on the pilot burner 167 and on the main burner 170 go out. When the current is switched on again or when it returns, the starting and ignition process takes place automatically as described above.

Erdleiter

If, however, the switch 21 is not provided and there is no fuel in the fuel supply line 165 , when the main switch 16 is switched on, the ignition safety device is activated until the solenoid valve 117 in the ignition line 166 has opened and the pilot burner between the ignition electrode 171 and the housing 167 sparks jump over. In the absence of fuel emerging from the ignition burner 167 , no ignition flame can be ignited, so that no electrical line formed by flame ionization is established between the plate electrodes 174 and 175 . Since this means that the monitoring device 36 cannot function in the manner described above, but the ignition device 35 remains in operation, the working contact 55 connected to the power supply when the device is switched off results in the charging resistor 89 being charged via the charging resistor 89 Safety capacitor 91 until the I) breakthrough voltage of the gas discharge tube 94 is reached and a K # discharge takes place, through which the safety relay 76 is energized. As a result, its actuating member 75 is moved, so that the changeover contact 64 and the break contact 95 are released from the normally closed contact 63 and the normally closed contact 86 , respectively. In this way, the connection of the starter relay 53 is achieved with the StromversorgunF, the starter relay 53 is de-energized and, consequently, is the actuator 52 to the initial position gemäas Figure 1 back. Characterized Also, since the safety relay 76 is de-energized, is also its Actuate the 'supply member 75 back into the starting position shown in Figure 1 back. The ignition device is switched off after a predetermined safety time t , which results from the time constant T2, which corresponds to the product of the resistance value of the charging resistor 89 and the capacitance of the safety capacitor 91 . By switching back the changeover contacts 51 and 56, as well as the changeover contact 64 and the breaker 85 to the starting position, the starting device starts up again and then the ignition device of the ignition safety device starts up again and repeats the ignition process until the ignition flame is ignited when fuel is available again or The locking switch 37 is brought into its open position by the action of the load resistor 161 and the release winding 162 , whereby the entire ignition safety device is again de-energized, ie the solenoid valves 117 and 125 are also closed. If the ignition flame on the pilot burner 167 goes out during operation of the device, the monitoring device 36 responds immediately due to the lack of flame ionization, so the over-. wachungerelais 42 drops and from this the switchover from the operating position to the starting position of the Ztliid-, safety device including closing the solenoid valves 117 and 125 is made and then a new starting and ignition process is initiated, as has been described. In the event of a short circuit between the plasma electrodes 174 and 175 , a spontaneous flashover takes place in the gas discharge tube 158 so that it is triggered immediately via the release winding 162 of the interlocking switch 37, i.e. the entire ignition safety device is switched off, so that the interlocking switch 37 is switched on again by hand become muse, but it triggers again immediately if the malfunction has not yet been remedied. If there should be a short circuit between the ignition electrode 171 and the housing of the pilot burner 167 when starting a starting and ignition process, the gas escaping at the pilot burner 167 cannot be ignited despite the start and ignition process, because the ignition energy passes through the housing of the pilot burner 167 is diverted to the protective or earth conductor 23 . Only when, after several unsuccessful repeated starting and ignition processes have elapsed, the release winding 162 of the locking switch 37 is heated to such an extent that its release element acts on the locking switch 37 , the latter switches off and the entire ignition safety device is de-energized. This switch-off time results from a time constant T3, which corresponds to the resistance value of the load resistor 161. At a restart of the locking property age 37 without vorherigeB eliminate short circuit re switching off the Zündsicherungsvorrichtung passes through the lock fixed age 37 after Ablauf.der turn several times unsuccessfully repeated starting and ignition and the switch-off time. Even in the event of a short circuit between the ignition electrode 171 and one of the plate electrodes 174 or 175 or between one of the latter with the housing of the pilot burner 167 , exactly the same shutdown sequence as previously described occurs. Because the charging resistor 60 can be regulated, the duration of the flushing time can be predetermined. The same applies to the safety time, which can be determined by setting the charging resistor 89 accordingly. The switch-off time can also be set by setting the load resistance 161 accordingly. In this way, an ignition safety device designed according to the invention can be adapted to devices with different performances and the requirements that arise in each case for adherence to certain periods of time for the flushing, safety and switch-off times, so that a uniform production of the ignition safety device can be achieved and nevertheless universal use of the same can take place.
