Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Auflockern und Zerstreuen des Tabaks für Zigarettenmaschinen. Der zur Herstellung von sögen, gerollten Zigaretten zu verwendende Tabak muß, falls es sich um Herstellung eines vorzüglichen, gleichmäßigen und haltbaren Erzeugnisses handelt, gut durchgearbeitet und aufgelockert, aber noch genügend langfaserig sein. Die bis jetzt bekannten, diesem Zwecke dienenden mechanischen Vorrichtungen sind noch ziemlich mangelhaft, indem sie entweder die beabsichtigte Lockerung der Tabakflocken, d. h. das Auseinanderlösen der Tabakfasern nur unvollkommen ausführen oder auch die Fasern des Tabaks in allzu hohem Grade zerreißen. Durch die neue Vorrichtung wird, wie praktische Versuche erwiesen haben, der beabsichtigte Zweck in vollkommener Weise erzielt. Der von den Stiftreihen 38, 39, 40 und 41 zerteilte Tabak fällt auf ein zweites endloses Förderband 30, welches zwischen und über die Trommel 31 und die Walze 32 läuft und den größtenteils aufgelösten und gleichmäßig verteilten Tabak den Stiftreihen 46 und 47 zuführt.
