Mundstück für StaubsaugerMouthpiece for vacuum cleaner
The invention relates to a mouthpiece for vacuum cleaners, with a number arranged in the area of the suction opening Openings which source via a channel with a pressurized gas, z. B. a compressed air or steam line are connected.
It is already a device for dedusting tissues known, in which the suction is generated with the help of a compressed air jet pump. With this device compressed air is additionally supplied in the area of the rear edge of the actual suction opening in order to blow it out of the dust from the fabric to be cleaned.
Furthermore, a vacuum cleaner is known in which the suction effect is also produced with the aid of compressed air nozzles. In addition, a supply device for compressed air is arranged on the front of the suction opening. An Indian The valve arranged in the compressed air supply line is used to manually switch the compressed air supply off and on.

A capsule pump is also provided for generating compressed air. The compressed air is blown out in the middle of the suction opening of the mouthpiece.
In these known vacuum cleaners, the compressed air is intended to cause the dust to be removed to be swirled up better.
Finally, a vacuum cleaner mouthpiece is known in which a ball movable in an annular channel is provided. The ball is moved around on its path with the help of suction air, thereby making the mouthpiece mechanical Vibrations. Such vibrations of the mouthpiece should have a certain knocking effect on the object to be cleaned be exercised and thereby the degree of purification can be improved.
The aim of the invention is to create a mouthpiece for vacuum cleaners, with which compared to the known, to a Pressurized gas source connected vacuum cleaners improved cleaning effect can be achieved. The mouthpiece according to the invention should in particular be designed so that the object to be treated, for example a carpet, a curtain, etc. can be set in vibrations, which remove sand, Pasern, or other impurities, so that these easily can be extracted.
Die Erfindung löst diese Aufgabe mit einem Mundstück der eingangs erwähnten Art dadurch, daß in dem Kanal ein, denThe invention solves this problem with a mouthpiece of the type mentioned in that a in the channel, the

Flow cross-section is arranged periodically opening and closing valve at short intervals.
According to the invention, such a mouthpiece for vacuum cleaners, ei which the suction by means of pressurized gas Nozzles is effected, be provided, the valve means for periodically interrupting the supply of pressurized gas to the Has nozzle.
With the mouthpiece according to the invention, an advantageous cleaning effect can be achieved, in particular through the periodic Generate interruption of the compressed air supply to the suction opening of the mouthpiece.
Further details and features of the invention can be found in the following description, the drawing and the claims refer to.

Die Einmündung 20 steht mit dem Zuleitungskanal 5 in Verbindung, während die Verbindungsöffnung 21 in Verbindung steht mit einem ringförmigen Verteilungsraum 22, aus welchem Luft durch dieis provided with several openings 3 for the outflow of the compressed air, which are distributed over the width of the suction opening 2 and connected to a distribution channel 4 mounted in the mouthpiece 1. The latter is connected to a feed channel 5 installed in the mouthpiece 1 "The mouthpiece is provided with a pipe nipple 6 which can be connected to a source of compressed air by means of a hose." From the nipple 6 the compressed air flows to a valve 7, which in the open position allows the air to flow into a turbine 10 through a duct 8. This turbine is firmly connected to a shaft 11 which is mounted in a valve housing 13 by means of the ball bearings 12. The compressed air from the turbine chamber passes through the outflow opening 14 into the open air after it has given its energy to the turbine blades. The valve 7 communicates through an angled channel 15 with a valve chamber 16 which is separated from the turbine chamber by a wall 17. A disk-shaped member 18 which is firmly connected to the shaft 11 and has a bore 19 rotates with the turbine. At two expediently diametrically opposed points on the circular path of the bore 19, the latter is connected to the confluence 20 or the connecting opening 21, into which compressed air flows alternately in this way. The mouth 20 communicates with the supply passage 5, in conjunction, while the connecting port 21 is in communication with an annular V e rteilungsraum 22, from which air through the

Nozzles 23 acting as a jet pump flows out into an ejector chamber 24 provided in the mouthpiece. the Nozzles 23 are oriented inwardly so that the compressed air jets create a suction effect in a known manner produce. This last-described device thus represents a jet pump, the suction side of which is against the mouthpiece 1 and its outflow side connected to a channel 25 which can be connected to a dust collection device such as a filter bag. The speed of the turbine can be adjusted with the aid of a screw 26 which adjusts the cross section of the channel 8.
The openings 3 for the outflow of the compressed air are oriented so that the periodic pressurized air puffs occurring during the rotation of the organ 18 act on the same surface which is also exposed to the suction effect. As a result, the treated material is exposed to periodically recurring pressure surges. If the turbine speed is set correctly , you can achieve a shock frequency that corresponds to the Sigenechwingungs number of the treated material or comes close to the same, so that you get the same effect as when tilting. Dust and foreign bodies are loosened and thus sucked out more easily. The blower effect created by the openings 3 enables depressions, crevices, hits, and the like to be cleaned. where suction alone is not enough.
Die Verbindungeöffnung 21 hat diese letzt· As can be seen from FIG. 3, the junction 20 is designed in the form of a simple bore; However, it can also be made with a slot concentric to the organ 16, if desired. The connection opening 21 has this last

In diesem Falle ist es zweckmäßig, daß die Abluft aus der Turbine nicht ins Freie, sondern in den Verteilungsraum 22 ausströmt. said embodiment (cf. Pig. 3) »whereby the influx of the compressed air into the distribution space 22 takes place during a larger part of the rotation of the organ 18 than the passage through the junction 20. In this way, a suction effect is obtained, which affects a extends longer than the pressure corresponding to the rotation . The device can even be designed so that compressed air flows continuously into the distribution space 22 and a constant suction effect in the ejector chamber 24, while the junction 20 allows the compressed air to flow out into the supply duct 5 only periodically. To achieve this type of operation, the junction 20 is retained, as in Pig. 4 it can be seen, during the distribution space 22, the compressed air is constantly led out through a channel 27 which connects the distribution space 22 with the valve chamber 16 . In this case it is expedient that the exhaust air from the turbine does not flow out into the open, but into the distribution space 22.
