Bekannt sind Weich- und Keimtrommeln mit zwei oder mehreren in dem ringförmigen Zwischenräume zwischen dem gelochten Centralrohr und dem Mantel der Trommel eingebauten radialen Zwischenwänden, welche die Trommel, ihrer ganzen Länge nach in zwei oder mehrere Abtheilungen scheiden, in denen das Getreide in verschiedenen Zuständen des Wachsthums gleichzeitig bewegt und gelüftet bezw. gekühlt werden kann, wie dieses Fig. 1 der Zeichnung, die den Querschnitt einer solchen Trommel darstellt, andeutet. Neu und den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildend ist der Einbau einer einzigen Zwischenwand \ (Fig. 2), wobei keine Kammern oder Abtheilungen gebildet werden.
