Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Bürste, welche bei Maschinen zum Entrinden und Putzen von Baumstämmen für die Zwecke der Cellulose- und Holzstofffabrikation und andere Holz verarbeitende Industrieen Verwendung finden soll. Die Neuerung besteht im Wesentlichen darin, dafs nicht mehr der äufsere Umfang eines Kernes oder wie bei ähnlichen Scheibenbürsten die ganze Scheibe mit Borsten besetzt wird, sondern es wird jetzt eine grofse flache Scheibe (Teller) auf einer Seite nur mit einem Kranz oder Ring von Borsten besetzt, so dafs der Borstenring die Rinde in sich kreuzenden Richtungen angreift.
