Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Maschine, welche dazu dienen soll, Baumstämme derart zu entrinden, dafs nur die Rinde, nicht aber das Holz angegriffen wird. Zu diesem Zweck ist die Maschine derart eingerichtet, dafs die Stämme zwangläufig unter gleichzeitiger veränderlicher Drehung zwischen schnell sich drehenden Stahlbürsten hindurchgefUhrt werden, deren Eingriffstiefe mittelst verstellbarer Führungsrollen genau geregelt werden kann, wobei diese Bürsten jeder Unebenheit des Holzes zu folgen im Stande sind.The invention relates to a machine which is intended to be used to cut tree trunks in this way to debark, so that only the bark is attacked, but not the wood. Diese Führungswalzen werden gleichmäfsig angetrieben und geben dem Stamm eine gleichzeitig vorwärts gehende und drehende Bewegung. Die durch die Scheiben c angetriebenen Bürsten b von beliebiger Form, welche das Entrinden bewirken, sind, damit sie für jede Stammdicke einstellbar sind, auf pendelnden Armen e angeordnet. Sie sind mit verstellbaren Führungs- oder Tastrollen f versehen, wodurch der Eingriff jederzeit geregelt werden kann, so dafs bei Vorsprüngen, Aesten im Stamm nur Rinde und Bast, nicht aber das Holz angegriffen wird.
