Stücken bestehen.Consist of pieces.
The present invention is a method to assemble from several pieces To provide vessels inside and outside with a seamless, riff-free enamel coating. The invention consists in that the individual parts of the vessels are put together before they are joined covered with enamel for themselves, and then the finished objects as a whole be enamelled again.
Should this method be used, for example, in the manufacture of a canteen are brought, then one side of the same BEZW first. the edge that the usual eyelets for the lanyard, as well as the neck or the outlet tube of the Assembled bottle. The connection of the edge and the side part takes place appropriately in such a way that the former is given a flange, which is replaced by an inwardly turned one Flanging on the side is included. The flange on the unconnected side part then lies approximately in one plane directed at right angles to the side. All parts are now on all sides covered with an appropriately acid-proof enamel compound; this enamel coating is then dried and finally baked in the usual way. After cooling down, will the side part connected to the edge by the fact that the flange around the edge is beaded inwards. The inside of the container is then carefully covered with enamel covered, with the seams between the flanges of the edge and the side parts completely filled with this enamel mass in order to prevent cracks and fissures as well as unenameled rooms prevent. The parts connected in this way are then subjected to the necessary heating, to completely dry the enamel coating on the inside, after which the The outer surface is given a final coating of enamel, which is dried in the same way will. The vessel is then subjected to the required stoving temperature, whereby both coatings are melted on the inner and outer side. The last applied coating is fused with the first applied and also causes the enamel to flow out in such a way that every part where the lower part The enamel layer could have cracked or cracked when connecting with one entirely smooth coating is provided.

Patent application:
Process for enamelling vessels, which consist of several pieces to be joined together, characterized in that the individual pieces are covered with enamel and fired, whereupon, after the vessel has been assembled, another layer of enamel is applied and fired on the outside and inside for the purpose of obtaining a riff-free coating everywhere, especially at the joints.
