In gleicher Weise ist der Aufsenrand dieser Flansche d gerundet und wird von einer entsprechend gestalteten, getheilten Kappe h umfafst, die ihrerseits in bekannter Weise mit Hülfe einer in gleicher Form gestalteten und mit Lappen k zum Anlegen von Schrauben / ausgestatteten und ihr unter Zwischenlage einer Dichtung überschobenen zweitheiligen Schelle i derartig fest auf ihre Unterlage geprefst, dafs eine dichte Verbindung sowohl der inneren wie der äufseren Rohrlängen an der gemeinsamen Verbindungsstelle erzielt ist. Zur Verhinderung eines Herauspressens des zwischen den beiden Kappen h und i erforderlichen Dichtungsmittels sind an den äufseren Rohren die Ringe e angegossen, gegen die sich die Aufsenkanten jener Kappen fest anlegen. Zur Aufrechterhaltung des räumlichen Znsammenhanges je zweier auf einander stofsender aufsenliegender Rohrlängen sind in bekannter Weise Umgänge^/ angeordnet, deren Flansche entweder unmittelbar auf einander treffen (Fig. 4) oder einen Absperrhahn g zwischen sich aufnehmen (Fig. 3).
