Um beim Antriebe von Schüttelsieben, Sortirmaschinen u. dgl. durch Pleuelstangen die Stöfse zu vermindern, bringt man an den Pleuelstangen federnde Zwischenglieder an. Diese bestehen aus einem Rahmen mit gegen einander gespannten Federn, die entsprechend der in der Pleuelstange wechselnden Kraftrichtung abwechselnd zur Wirkung kommen. Bisher wurde dieses federnde Glied zwischen den beiden Enden der Pleuelstange eingeschaltet (vergl. die Patentschrift 30279), so dafs der Schwerpunkt des schweren Federrahmens innerhalb der Pleuelstangenenden lag. Der Schwerpunkt macht daher nicht blos die hin- und hergehenden Bewegungen des gerade geführten Pleuelstangenendes, sondern auch in einem der Entfernung von diesem Ende der Pleuelstange entsprechenden Mafse die durch den Kurbelantrieb bedingten Schwingungen senkrecht zur Bewegungsrichtung dieses Pleuelstangenendes mit. Dadurch entstanden bei der Umkehr dieser Schwingbewegung unter der Einwirkung der Masse des Federrahmens Stöfse senkrecht zur Bewegungsrichtung des gerade geführten Pleuelstangenendes, die auf den Sieb-, Sortiro. dgl.
