Description
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Verbesserung bei der Verarbeitung kalthärtender Gießharze. Es ist bekannt, Gegenstände aus kalthärtendem Gießharz herzustellen, indem man dieses in die passenden Formen gießt und anschließend aushärten läßt. Dabei ist es häufig nachteilig, daß das kalthärtende Gießharz eine relativ hohe Viskosität aufweist und nicht ohne weiteres sehr enge Querschnitte in den Formen ausfüllt. Man hat deshalb schon die bekannte Eigenschaft der kalthärtenden Gießharze, bei Temperaturerhöhung dünnflüssiger zu werden, ausgenutzt und vorgewärmtes Gießharz in Formen gegossen. Dieser Ausweg läßt sich aber praktisch nur bei relativ kleinen Harzmengen ausnutzen, da sich bei großen Harzmengen wegen der beim Vorwärmen einsetzenden exothermen Härtungsreaktion eine zu starke Wärmeabgabe und Temperatursteigerung ergibt, wodurch die Topfzeit stark herabgesetzt wird. Es wurde außerdem vorgeschlagen, daß zur Abfuhr der aufgenommenen Luftfeuchtigkeit von der Form bzw. den zu umgießenden Gegenständen vorgewärmte Luft verwendet werden kann. Gleichzeitig wird aber dabei vor einer zu starken Wärmeeinwirkung gewarnt, da sonst das Gießharz zu schnell aushärten könne und gegebenenfalls keine Zeit zur vollständigen Ausfüllung der Form verbleiben würde.
