Claims (2)

ÜBERSETZUNG EP-Anmeldung Nr. 84 63 0071.3 United Technologies Corp. Patentansprüche :
1. Für ein Lager, welches eine den Verdichter eines Gasturbinentriebwerks tragende Welle trägt und in ein Gehäuse eingekapselt ist, das öl enthält, wobei das Gehäuse
die Welle umgibt und umlaufende Kohledichtungen hat, die an den Enden des Gehäuses nahe der Welle befestigt sind, um das Entweichen von öl aus der Lagerkammer und das Einsaugen von Luft in dieselbe zu verhindern, und wobei das Gehäuse einer Umgebung ausgesetzt ist, deren Temperatur
höher ist als die des Öls in dem Gehäuse, mit einer Pufferzone, welche die Welle an dem Innenumfang der umlaufenden Kohledichtungen umgibt, und mit einer Einrichtung zum Versorgen der Pufferzone mit Hochdruckluft, wobei
der Druck höher ist als der der Umgebungsluft an der eingekapselten Lagerkammer, und mit einer Einrichtung zum
Kühlen der Luft höheren Druckes, bevor diese in die Pufferzone eingeleitet wird.
2. Für ein Lager nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Luft an dem
Auslaßende des Verdichters abgezapft und außerhalb des
Triebwerks gekühlt wird.
