It is known to use well water for the purpose of cooling living and working spaces, whose temperature is below that of the heat of the air, to be used in such a way that this water through a pipeline housed in the relevant rooms presses. However, this method encounters considerable difficulties because of the coping of the large amounts of water that arise as a result of the comparatively small temperature differences What are required are a comparatively expensive pumping system, and what is even more important, a pipe network of large expansion is required. It is nothing new either, instead of water, the one easier to use moving air for the transfer of heat, i.e. air, before they are fed to the rooms to be cooled, through pipes that are in the cool ground or lie in a stream or canal that has very cold water.
The essential and novelty of the present invention consists in the fact that the cooling pipe coil b is arranged in a well α instead of in a stream or the like (FIG. 1). The air, which is driven through the pipe coil b by means of a fan c , is expediently taken from a point where it is the purest, and after having passed the cooling coil it reaches the rooms to be cooled through a pipe. In Fig. 1 the distribution of the cold air is indicated in such a way that it flows into a cavity d in the ceiling and is distributed from here through corresponding small openings; hollow walls can of course also be used for this purpose. Furthermore, the air flow can be divided in such a way that a part of the cold air reaches the room to be cooled after passing through a cavity or directly, while another part is passed through cavities in ceilings and walls, only for the purpose of removing the inner surfaces of the walls, etc. to keep cool, which is especially necessary when the difference in heat between the ordinary and the cooled air is less; since only a limited amount of air can be supplied to the room to use drafts, the temperature will not fall to the required extent, because heat is constantly flowing in from outside through windows, walls, etc. However, when the boundary surfaces cool down, the heat exchange between the air in the room and the outside air is for the most part abolished. Since it is known that the water precipitating from the air must be drained from such cooling coils, it is collected in the vessel k and constantly sucked off and carried away by a small pump e, which can be driven together with the fan.
Sobald die Wärme des Wassers steigt, wird wieder ein Wärmeaustausch mit der Umgebung des BrunnensThe cooling capacity of a well will vary according to its water content and normal Adjust the water temperature. As soon as the heat of the water rises, there is again a heat exchange with the area around the fountain

stattfinden. In order to take full advantage of this exchange, it is advisable to create two wells with the same total content instead of one well with a large content. However, the two wells must be connected by pipes Jf 1 so, that a circulation of water occurs, or receive a special cooling coil must, each well. Since such a device will not be sufficient for a longer period of operation, the heated water must be pumped out in such a case. A special pump g is set up for this purpose, which pumps off the warm water either continuously or as required.
So that the water is pumped out near the surface where it is warmest even when the water level changes, a float h can be arranged according to FIG. 2, which carries the suction nozzle. The connection with the suction line must then be a flexible one and can, for. B. consist of a rubber hose that is connected to the camp i.
To increase the cooling capacity of the water, you can use the fresh air expose higher pressure, the compressed air will then take on a higher heat, and according to this heat, the temperature of the cooling water can also be become higher.
