Mit lamellenartig ineinandergreifenden Laschenkörpern
versehene, Metallgliederkette . mit über die ganze Kettenbreite
durchgehenden
Metal link chain provided with lamellar interlocking plate bodies. with continuous over the entire chain width rocker joints is known to the individual chain links of link chains metal; which are provided with lamellar interlocking plate bodies; to be connected to one another in an articulated manner using round bolts . Such round bolts can absorb both the chain pulling forces and the forces acting transversely to the chain pulling direction and to the joint axis, which are usually much lower. However, such a hinge connection by means of round bolt has the disadvantage that tenglieder each other aufreten at a high tensile considerable frictional forces during the pivoting movement of the chain-and that both the plate bore holes to high wear are exposed because of the occurring sliding friction as well as the round bolt.
angestrebte
Verminderung der Reibungskräfte und des
Verschleißes läßt sich hierbei
nur unter Inkaufnahme
wesentlich geringerer Kettenzugkräfte erreichen. In order to eliminate these disadvantages, it is already known to replace the round bolts with a knife-edge bearing. A continuous bolt-shaped body with a pan-like incision is fixed in the bores of one group of tabs , against the bottom of which projections of the bores of the other group of tabs that serve as cutting edges are supported. With a cutting edge bearing , however, taking into account the very small radii of curvature on the cutting edge and in the base of the socket, only very small longitudinal forces can be transmitted, because otherwise the Hertzian pressures would be inadmissibly high. The desired reduction in frictional forces and wear can only be achieved with the acceptance of significantly lower chain tensile forces.
beiden
Seiten her gegen einen alle Laschenbohrungen durchsetzenden planparallelen Stab
ab. Dadurch ver-
Wiegegelenkbolzen
vermieden. Bei all den genannten Ersatzkonstruktionen ist es
zwar
Laschenbohrungen quer zur Kettenzugrichtung be-
merkbar.
Die ausgescheuerte Laschenbohrung ge-
stattet den Wiegegeknkbolzen
eine Verschiebung
quer zur Kettenzugrichtung und zur Gelenkachse in
Richtung
auf die ausgescheuerten Laschenbohrungsteile. Die Folge davon ist; daß die
Wiegegelenkbolzen nicht mehr eine reine Abwälzbewegung gegenein-
ander
Laschenbohrungen
It is also known to replace the round bolts with two cradle pivot bolts, one of which is fixed in the bores of one bracket group and the other in that of the second bracket group to be articulated with the former and the spherical surfaces facing each other in such a way that when one group of tabs is rotated relative to the other, they roll off one another. Such rocker joint constructions are known in many Abwandlungsformen, including .Such in which each plate bore hole has a spherical rocker joint surface. The spherical surfaces of each bracket group support screen alternately from both sides against a plane-parallel rod penetrating all bracket holes. This reduces the effective pitch width to about half of the total chain link width. After a not belonging to the prior art proposal, this disadvantage is avoided by using continuous over the entire chain link width rocker joint pins. With all of the substitute constructions mentioned , it has succeeded to a greater or lesser extent; the undesired sliding friction in the joint and the wear and tear to be avoided and high chain tensile forces to be transmitted. It became, however, failed also to ensure that the usually much lower, across wirken- to the pulling direction and the hinge axis the forces are abgestützt- clean. Such forces occur through vibrations and especially: when entering and leaving. of such a chain in or out of the arc of wrap, but only find the more or less sharp edges of the rocker joint bolts between their contact and rolling surfaces as contact surfaces in the link bores. This general disadvantage is due to the continuous pivotal movement of the cradle pivot pin relative to the tab holes by scrub out the tab holes transverse to the loading Kettenzugrichtung noticeable. The ausgescheuerte plate bore hole word which enables the Wiegegeknkbolzen a displacement transverse to the Kettenzugrichtung and to the hinge axis in the direction of the out scoured plate bore hole parts. The consequence of this is; that the cradle pivot pins no longer perform a pure rolling movement against one another; but with their rolling surfaces and slide on each other: This has' increased wear on both the rolling surfaces of the bolt and in the already scoured parts of the plate bore holes to, which in turn even greater relative displacements of the rocker joint pins and ever increasing wear enables ER. Once this wear and tear has begun within a specific operating time of the chain, it then sways in the manner described and then renders the chain unusable in a short time.
The object of the invention is therefore, while maintaining the previously achieved
Reduction of joint friction and wear a rocker joint construction
with pivot pins extending over the entire chain width for high load-bearing capacity
in the direction of the chain hoist, with which the transverse forces can also be supported, see above
that the chafing of the bracket hole is avoided or at least to a permissible level
Dimension is reduced.
Starting from one with lamellar interlocking tab bodies
metal link chain with rocker joints over the entire width of the chain,
each of which has two cradle pivot pins, one of which is in the bores
one group of tabs and the other articulated in the one with the first
to be connected to the second group of tabs is fixed and fixed with each other
facing, spherically executed surfaces touch such that they are rotated when the
Unroll one group of tabs across from the other, the solution succeeds
the task set according to the invention by a transverse, to the direction of pull and
to the joint axis acting forces absorbing support device on which the soffits
the aligned holes of both plate groups are in contact.
sämtliche Laschenbohrungen durchsetzendes, beide Wiegegelenkbolzen umfassendes Profilrohr
A particularly expedient embodiment results from the fact that
the support device as a cage tube penetrating all bracket holes
with opposing recesses for the passage in the direction of the chain hoist
the back of the rocker pin is formed. But you can also use it as a
Profile tube penetrating all bracket holes and encompassing both rocker joint bolts
with a longitudinal slot for the back of one of the pivot pins to pass through
form, but then needs somewhat larger bracket holes. It is still possible
to train the support device in such a way that the one cradle pivot pin
two circumferential extensions protruding beyond the center of the joint
has, while the other cradle pivot pin is set off according to the extensions
is. In this case, the support of the transverse forces is not quite as good as when it is used
a cage tube or a profile tube, but the structural design is
easier 'and cheaper and completely sufficient for most applications.
The measures outlined above make the effective contact surface
between the reveals of the bracket holes and the rocker joints perpendicular to the direction of the chain hoist
and the hinge axis is increased significantly and the contact pressure accordingly
scaled down. With the mutual rotation of the plate body in this area
created a bolt-like guide, while the high chain pulling forces
and are transmitted with little wear and tear via the rocker joints. So it finds one
noticeable relief of the plate holes instead, so that they are transverse to the direction of the chain hoist
are no longer rubbed out.
