Description
Device for cleaning objects, in particular bulk goods, by means of ultrasound The cleaning of products: the precision engineering industry using ultrasonic energy has been known for a long time. The cleaning takes place in a suitable liquid that loosens the dirt as soon as possible or solves. Serve as electroacoustic transducers. so-called transducers, which are in this liquid generate an intense ultrasonic field, with the ultrasonic vibrations more or less well bundled depending on the frequency and size of the transducers are. Mechanical transport devices should ensure that the items to be cleaned is moved slowly and evenly through the zones of strongest ultrasound effect.
It is also already known that the items to be washed are subjected to ultrasound irradiation to set in a vibrating motion. However, this process is only intended aim to separate surfaces of the bulk material to be cleaned that adhere to one another to dissolve and expose to the free liquid. The shaking movement takes place here in a basket, without resulting locomotion and thus does not serve the Transport of the laundry.
Allen bisher bekannten, derartigen Vorrichtungen haften verschiedene Nachteile an. Various devices of this type are adhered to all known devices of this type Disadvantages. On the one hand, it is desirable that the flow of the items to be cleaned by the washing machine as continuously and fully automatically as possible. In addition is always after an almost horizontal movement of the laundry within the liquid across the direction of propagation of the ultrasonic waves also a more or less steep, vertical movement is required to get the items to be cleaned out of the liquid to highlight. On the other hand, there are the mechanical devices required for this expensive and complicated and also relatively prone to failure. This is especially true when, for example, trichlorethylene is used as the cleaning fluid. Because this has the effect of its well-known and often very desirable for the items to be cleaned, strong degreasing property, bearing points of rotating axles or other places subject to friction, be it within the fluid, be it in the overlying steam atmosphere, not for uninterrupted continuous operation can be sufficiently lubricated, which is why they are subject to heavy wear and do not achieve the desired service life.
It has also been thought to provide chain conveyors for the transport; almost all bearing points can be arranged outside of the liquid. Apart from the relatively high costs, this process also has the disadvantage that the individual chain links are degreased by the vapor of the trichlorethylene and are consequently subject to increased wear. Numerous others Design proposals have become known, but they are always similar or additional Disadvantages are that they are under despite considerable mechanical effort are subject to very strong wear and tear under the influence of cleaning agents and that it often presents difficulties, liquid-tight, which is essential for its operation To build bushings reliably and cheaply in such a way that they also protect against water, Water vapor, trichlorethylene and trichlorethylene vapor are absolutely resistant and leak-proof stay. In addition, many of these devices do not meet the most important condition namely to work fully automatically and continuously.
The idea on which the invention is based eliminates all of the above Difficulties caused by a device for cleaning objects, in particular of bulk material, which is immersed in the cleaning liquid, the cleaning material receiving, provided with a vibrating screen basket and one in the cleaning liquid arranged ultrasonic transducer, characterized by an inclined, closed at the lower end, absorbing the cleaning liquid and the items to be cleaned, A channel connected to a vibrator, in which the items to be cleaned are subjected to vibrations the gutter is transported up to the open end thereof, and one with its radiating surface is immersed in the cleaning liquid. The idea according to the invention is therefore based on known each other The fact that a vibrating conveyor trough or a conveyor pipe, the z. B. with 50 or 100 Hz are excited to mechanical vibrations, the direction of which is below inclined at a certain angle of, for example, 20 ° to the plane of the bottom of this channel can transport any loose material. That is both in horizontal Direction as well as with a corresponding inclination of the conveyor trough, for example 15 ° upwards at an angle to the horizontal possible. This type of conveyor technology to use in an ultrasonic washing machine, offers a whole range at the same time of advantages. The absence of any bearing points subject to friction is eliminated completely the risk of any wear and tear. The promotion diagonally upwards, so with a certain inclination to the horizontal, also has the advantage that both the movement of the items to be cleaned in the horizontal direction, d. H. across the Radiation direction of the ultrasonic waves, is concerned, so that the items to be cleaned even with a strongly bundled ultrasonic wave field with certainty through the Zone of strongest energy is transported through, but that also through a Slanted upward movement of the parts this off after cleaning the liquid can be conveyed upwards. The strong, low-frequency ones Amplify vibrations of the conveyor trough and thus also of the items to be cleaned also the cleaning effect of the ultrasound in a particularly favorable manner. That Interaction of the high-frequency ultrasonic vibrations and the low-frequency Vibrations result in an ideal and rapid detachment of the dirt from the surface of the items to be cleaned with simultaneous rinsing, so that the dirt particles as a result their much lighter weight, they are actually permanently separated from the items to be cleaned will. This prevents loosely adhering dirt after cleaning remains on the items to be cleaned and dries again later.
Figure 1 shows an embodiment of the invention, wherein the conveyor trough is designed as a receptacle for the cleaning liquid. In Figure 1, A denotes the conveyor trough which is filled with the liquid B. It is excited to vibrate by the vibrator D. A transducer E dips into the conveyor trough from above and generates a strong ultrasonic field. through which the items to be cleaned slowly slide through during the conveying process.
With many cleaning problems, it is essential that the items to be cleaned successively through different baths, be it to use the same one To work bath liquid, then the second bath to achieve a special high degree of purity is much less soiled than the first bath in which most of the adhering dirt and oil residues and the like are caught be it to the items to be cleaned one after the other with different cleaning fluids to treat.
Figure 2 shows that according to the invention two or more such devices, as explained in Figure 1, can be cascaded in series can. A, and Az are two separate conveyor troughs that go through independently of each other the two vibrators D1 and Dz are made to vibrate. The sounder (s) are not shown here for the sake of simplicity, and both should be provided be that both conveyor troughs are excited with ultrasound, as well as possibly just one of the two. Behind the second conveyor trough can also be a third and possibly further conveyor troughs can be switched. The items to be cleaned fall out of the last conveyor trough in the collecting tray G. Instead of this tray, a conveyor belt can of course also be used. z. B. a belt conveyor, which the parts to another place in the manufacturing process creates.
The ones usually used are not shown in the figures Additional devices to pump the cleaning fluid around and possibly through to remove dirt from a filter. It is also possible that the conveyor trough is provided with thin slits outside the liquid level through which the dirt, as far as it is also conveyed upwards, falls out while the items to be cleaned slide over these slots.
It can also be between or after the two drawn in picture 2 Conveyor troughs installed inclined or horizontal additional conveyor troughs are, which are also partially provided with slots, above which a shower is located to rinse the items to be cleaned with a suitable liquid, before it gets into the next tub. Also for this with numerous cleaning tasks important intermediate process through which, for example, still loosely on the surface adhering dirt particles are rinsed off and removed., before the parts are in the If the next cleaning bath with a higher degree of purity falls, the application has proven its worth the vibration method for conveying is particularly good because of the strong shaking movement of the parts and the liquid used for rinsing again almost quantitatively is stripped.
On a channel with slots for the liquid to drain off you can even use two different liquids at the same time and yet separately work. You then have to cut the slots transversely to the conveying direction which is obliquely upward arrange them and make them so long that neither below the channel nor above the liquid flowing down from above flow over the slits on the channel can. The liquid dripping out of the slots can be returned to a funnel collected and circulated by means of a pump.
Should flat bodies, e.g. B. discs made of metal or ceramic or the like., ultrasonic cleaning is often required sonication from above and below so that the entire surface is absolutely clean will. To achieve this, two conveyor troughs can be connected in series as shown in Figure 2, in each of these two channels the sound only comes from above, while a suitably shaped baffle ensures that the parts slide down from. the first channel in the second turn by 180 °, so that in the first Conveyor trough downward facing surface in the second conveyor trough upwards. to come to lie. Of course, the simultaneous sound from above and below is also possible possible, with one sounder radiating from below and the other from above.
The great technical progress of the device according to the invention consists in their universal usability, their high operational reliability, the increased cleaning effect through the interaction of high-frequency sound vibrations and low-frequency mechanical vibrations while being particularly cheaper Construction. It not only favors the cleaning process itself, but in particular even the separation of the dirt particles and the liquid residues from the conveyed material. One against the upward inclined conveying direction of the parts running liquid flow can intensify the rinsing of the parts, so that a special rinsing bath in In many cases it becomes superfluous .. If you have to clean the ball bearings, it is through the method according to the invention also additionally involves a slight rotation of the rotor triggered against the stator, which is precisely what removes the last remaining dirt is often essential. Even with other assembled units that are based on a vibration Run through the conveying trough or in a corresponding conveying pipe through the ultrasonic washing zone, the simultaneous vibration brings an improvement in the cleaning effect.
