Description
B. Hebezeuge, erforderlich macht.Floatable emergency seal For closing weir openings in Rivers, lock chambers, etc. are often floatable emergency closures used. Such emergency closures can consist of individual, articulated, interconnected, floats provided with flood and vent valves exist. With changing Viasserstand is disadvantageous in floating emergency closures that the insertion the closure special aids, such. B. lifting equipment, makes necessary.
The invention is based on the object of a floatable emergency lock to be trained so that even with changing water levels without tools in the opening to be closed can be used and after flooding the weir pit or a lock chamber automatically adopts its floating position.
This object is achieved in that the transverse to the direction of flow lying individual floating bodies through in the area of their bottom and to the floating bodies axially arranged joints are connected to one another by the joints conditional joint is sealed and the float on the opposite Walls are supported against each other in a pressure-resistant manner.
The invention is explained with reference to the drawings. It shows Fig. 1 the emergency lock floating during transport to the place of use, Fig. 2 the lock built into a weir opening with rising water, Fig. 3 the emergency seal at falling water. The note closure according to the invention consists of several floating bodies 1, 2, 3 .. .. which are connected to a unit by means of joints b. The order the float or the joints are such that they are transverse in the closed position to the direction of flow of the water. There are also stops on the floats c provided, which come to the stop in the extended position of the emergency seal. The floats have seals on the sides and over the joints. Also is each float with a per se known flood valve d and a vent valve e equipped.
Fig. 2).After the emergency seal arrives in front of the opening to be closed the floats lie transversely to the direction of flow of the water. The float 1 is now flooded and sinks due to its own weight. According to that The floats 2, 3 are now used one after the other. also flooded. until the float 1 has reached the bottom of the opening to be closed (see Fig. Fig. 2).
In this position the opening is already closed, and the weir pit or the lock chamber can be pumped out.
If the water rises outside the chamber, the first still partially horizontally floating float 3. 4 and 5 one after the other the increasing water pressure pressed into the locking position. Stand at the highest water level all floating bodies on top of one another, with the rigid connection on the one hand through the joints b arranged transversely to the direction of flow of the water and on the other hand is guaranteed by the stops c.
If the water falls, the individual floating bodies tilt accordingly the falling water level successively in the horizontal swimming position. This tilting is achieved automatically by the inclined position of the seal stops f on the opening to be closed.
When the weir pit or the lock chamber is pumped out, they are emptied also the flooded floating bodies through the open flood valves d.
If the floating emergency lock is to be removed from the opening, so first the flood valves c3 are closed, as well as the vent valves e. When filling the weir pit or lock chamber to the level of the outside water the now empty floats receive buoyancy and the emergency seal floats and again assumes the swimming position shown in FIG. 1.
