Die Erfindung betrifft ein Tragband für Gardinen, Vorhänge u. dgl., das an der oberen Kante der Gardine oder des Vorhangs angenäht wird und mit Befestigungsmitteln für die Aufhänger versehen ist. Bei einer bekannten Art solcher Tragbänder sind an diesen zur Erzielung einer mehr oder weniger starken Kräuselung der Gardine oder des Vorhangs ein oder mehrere unelastische Zugfäden längs verschiebbar vorgesehen. Durch Herausziehen dieser Zugfäden aus dem Tragband kann dieses und damit die Gardine oder der Vorhang gekräuselt und auf die gewünschte Gardinen- bzw. Fensterbreite gebracht werden, wobei gleichzeitig durch die Kräuselung bzw.
