Abstract

Es wird eine Zündkerze (1) für eine Brennkraftmaschine mit einem Gehäuse (2), das mit einem Außengewinde (4) zum Einschrauben in einen Zylinderkopf und einer kegelstumpfartig oder eben ausgeführten Dichtfläche (7) zum Abdichten eines Brennraums der Brennkraftmaschine ausgebildet ist, beschrieben. Die Dichtfläche (7) wirkt mit einem Dichtsitz des Zylinderkopfes zusammen. Das Gehäuse (2) ist zusätzlich mit einem Bereich ausgeführt, der als Angriffsbereich (3) für ein Montagewerkzeug ausgebildet ist. Eine Außenkontur des Angriffsbereichs (3) ist als Vieleck ausgeführt und eine Eckenanzahl des Angriffsbereichs (3) ist wenigstens 12.
