Abstract

Mittels bekannter Verfahren und Vorrichtungen kann die schockartige Granulation der flüssigen Schlacken mit der Erzeugung den trockenen, feinsten, glasigen, vom Eisen separierten Schlackensand nicht erreicht werden. DOLLAR A Die erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren und Vorrichtungen lösen umweltfreundlich das Problem mittels der Verwendung zur Granulation die flüssigen Schlacken eine Überschallnebeligströmung, die in der Sonderüberschalldüse so gebildet wird, dass mit Luft eine begrenzte Wassermenge nebelig zerstäubt und abgekühlt wird. Beim Aufprall der Überschallnebeligströmung mit der Schmelze, das zerstäubende Wasser augenblicklich verdampft wird und die Schmelze an einzelne feinste, glasige Teilchen zerrissen wird, die schwebend in dabei gebildeter Luftdampfströmung fortgetrieben, abgekühlt und an trockenen Schlackensand und Eisengranulat separiert werden. DOLLAR A Das Verfahren und die Vorrichtung verbessern die Qualität des Schlackensandes und vermindern die Betriebskosten und Investitionen.
