To provide the parking light, the light emitting surface of the direction indicator penetrates light-conducting rods 7 , which are arranged at a distance from one another. The light from the parking light source 1 is coupled into these light-conducting rods 7 , for example via light guides. The surfaces of the rods 7 are formed in the radiation direction of the lighting device so that light is emitted in this direction. Claims (11)

1. Beleuchtungseinrichtung für Fahrzeuge mit einer in einem Gehäuse (2) enthaltenden Hauptlichtquelle (1) und einer Zusatzlichtquelle (4), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abstrahlfläche des von der Hauptlichtquelle (1) emittierten Lichts zumindest von einem lichtleitenden Element (5; 7), in welches das Licht der Zusatzlichtquelle (4) eingekoppelt wird, zumindest teilweise durchsetzt ist. 1.
