Abstract

A furniture panel (1, 1 ') comprises a panel body (2, 2') with a recess (20, 20 ') into which an adapter (3, 3', 3 ") and a furniture fitting (4) are inserted, wherein the adapter (3, 3 ', 3 ") is surrounded on at least two sides by walls (22, 23, 24) of the recess (20, 20') and has a receptacle into which the furniture fitting (4) is inserted and fixed whereby at least one positioning pin (35) is formed on the adapter (3, 3 ', 3 ") and is inserted into an opening (25) on the panel body (2, 2'). This allows the furniture fitting (4) position exactly on the furniture plate (1, 1 ').

Description

The present invention relates to a furniture panel with a panel body with a recess into which an adapter and a furniture fitting are inserted, the adapter being surrounded on at least two sides by walls of the recess and having a receptacle into which the furniture fitting is inserted and fixed, and a piece of furniture.

The DE 20 2014 105 730 U1 discloses a furniture panel in which a recess is provided on a panel body into which an insert part is inserted, to which a guide device can be attached. The insert part is positioned using a contour made in the panel body. The milling of such a contour is usually subject to tolerances, so that the positioning of the insert part takes place with low accuracy, so that the guide device cannot be positioned exactly relative to the furniture panel.

It is therefore the object of the present invention to create a furniture panel in which a furniture fitting can be positioned exactly on a panel body via an adapter.

This object is achieved with a furniture panel with the features of claim 1.

In the furniture panel according to the invention, a panel body with a recess is provided, for example a milled recess in a panel body made of a wood material, such as a medium-density fiberboard, an adapter and a furniture fitting being inserted into the recess. The adapter is surrounded on at least two sides by walls of the recess and provided with at least one positioning pin which is inserted into an opening on the plate body. This makes use of the advantage that openings, in particular bores, can be made comparatively precisely, so that the adapter is positioned on the plate body with greater accuracy. A furniture fitting fixed to the adapter can thus also be positioned more precisely relative to the panel body.

At least two spaced apart positioning pins are preferably provided on the adapter, each of which is inserted into an opening on the plate body. This provides a security against rotation when positioning the adapter on the plate body. The positioning pins can be made peg-shaped with a cylindrical cross-section, rectangular cross-section, web-shaped or with a different geometry. A peg shape with a substantially circular diameter simplifies assembly, since circular openings can then be made on the plate body by drilling. The positioning pins can then be designed as dowels, smooth-walled or profiled.

The at least one positioning pin, in particular all of the positioning pins, preferably extends with their longitudinal direction perpendicular to the plane of the plate body. As a result, the adapter can also be mounted on comparatively thin plate bodies that have a thickness <20 mm, for example between 8 mm and 16 mm, the adapter being positioned at openings in the area of the main surface of the plate body and not in the area of an end face.

A protruding flange can be formed on at least one side of the adapter, which flange rests against a step on the plate body. A positioning pin which is inserted into an opening in the plate body can be arranged on the at least one flange. Preferably outwardly protruding flanges are formed on at least two sides of the adapter, on which one or more positioning pins are provided. As a result, the adapter can be easily positioned on the plate body during assembly by pushing it on. The panel body can be glued to the adapter before the furniture fitting is fixed to the adapter.

The adapter can have side walls arranged in a U-shape, with at least two side walls resting against walls of the recess. The walls of the recess extend perpendicular to the plane of the plate body and are thus aligned parallel to the end faces. The adapter can be fixed to these walls, for example by mechanical fasteners or by gluing. To stabilize the adapter, it can have a base within the side walls. The bottom can then be glued to a bottom at the recess. Optionally, this base on the adapter can also be dispensed with, for example if the furniture fitting has to be installed on the adapter from opposite sides. Then the adapter is for example U-shaped.

Fastening means for fixing a furniture fitting are preferably formed on the adapter. These fastening means can be integrally formed projections, grooves, webs, hooks or other fastening means into which the furniture fitting can be inserted, swiveled or pushed. This ensures that the furniture fitting is positioned exactly within the adapter.

In a further embodiment, connecting means for connecting to a are on the adapter formed further furniture panel, wherein the connecting means are designed for example as dowels, pins or openings that interact with corresponding connecting means on the further furniture panel. A furniture board 1 comprises a plate body 2 , which is made for example from a wood material, in particular a chipboard, such as a medium-density or high-density fiberboard. At a recess in the plate body 2 is a furniture fitting 4th fixed, which has a pivotable arm and is designed as a flap fitting.
