Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a furniture plate comprising a plate body with a recess, in which an adapter and a furniture fitting are embedded, wherein the adapter is surrounded on at least two sides by the walls of the recess and has a receptacle, into which the furniture fitting is embedded and fixed; the invention also relates to a piece of furniture.
Background
DE 202014105730U 1 discloses a furniture plate, in which recesses are provided in the plate body, into which recesses an insert part is inserted, on which insert part a guide device can be mounted. The positioning of the insert is achieved by a profile made in the plate body. However, milling such contours often has errors, so that the positioning accuracy of the insert is low, and the guide device cannot be positioned precisely relative to the furniture plate.
Disclosure of Invention
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a furniture plate in which the furniture fitting can be positioned precisely on the plate body via an adapter.
This object is achieved by a furniture plate having the features of claim 1.
In the furniture plate according to the invention, the plate body is provided with a recess, for example a recess milled in a plate body of a wood material (e.g. a medium density fiberboard), wherein an adapter and a furniture fitting are embedded in the recess. The adapter is surrounded on at least two sides by the walls of the recess and is provided with at least one positioning pin, which is inserted into an opening in the plate body. The advantage of being able to introduce (produce) the opening, in particular the bore hole, relatively precisely is utilized in this case, so that the adapter is positioned on the plate body with greater precision. The furniture fitting fixed to the adapter can thus be positioned more precisely in relation to the plate body.
Preferably, at least two positioning pins spaced apart from each other are provided on the adapter, and each positioning pin is inserted into an opening in the plate body. This results in a torsional resistance (verdrehsicheherheit) when the adapter is positioned on the plate body. The positioning pin can be formed in the shape of a dowel (with a cylindrical cross section or a rectangular cross section), a tab or have another geometry. The shape of the tenon shaft, which can have a substantially circular diameter, simplifies assembly, since a circular opening can then be made in the plate body by drilling. The positioning pin can then be designed as a plug pin, be it smooth-walled or have a profiled (tooth-like) structure.
Preferably, the at least one positioning pin, in particular all positioning pins, extends with its longitudinal direction perpendicular to the plane of the plate body. It is thus also possible to mount the adapter on a thinner plate body with a thickness of < 20mm, for example between 8mm and 16mm, wherein the positioning of the adapter at the opening is effected in the region of the main surface of the plate body and not in the region of the end faces.
The adapter can be formed with a projecting flange on at least one side, which flange rests against a step on the plate body. A positioning pin can be provided on the at least one flange, which positioning pin is inserted into an opening of the plate body. Preferably, an outwardly projecting flange is formed on at least two sides of the adapter piece, on which flange one or more positioning pins are provided. In this way, the adapter can be positioned on the plate body in a simple manner by insertion during assembly. In this case, the plate body can be glued to the adapter and the furniture fitting can then be fixed to the adapter.
The adapter can have side walls arranged in a U-shape, at least two of which lie against the walls of the recess. The walls of the recess extend perpendicular to the plane of the plate body and are therefore oriented parallel to the end faces. The fastening of the connecting elements can be realized on these walls, for example by mechanical fastening means or by gluing. To stabilize the adapter, the adapter may have a base plate within each sidewall. The base plate may then be bonded to a base plate on the recess. As an alternative, this base plate on the adapter can also be dispensed with, for example if the furniture fitting has to be fitted on the adapter from the opposite side. The adapter is then, for example, of U-shaped configuration.
Preferably, a fastening mechanism for fastening the furniture fitting is formed on the adapter. The fastening means can be integrally formed projections, tongues, hooks or other fastening means into which the furniture fitting can be inserted, screwed or pushed. This ensures a precise positioning of the furniture fitting in the adapter piece.
In a further embodiment, a connecting device for connecting to a further furniture panel is formed on the adapter part, wherein the connecting device is designed, for example, as a peg, pin or opening, which interacts with a corresponding connecting device on the further furniture panel. Thereby, the furniture panels of the invention can be efficiently assembled into a cabinet-shaped furniture cabinet.
The furniture fitting on the furniture plate is preferably designed as a hinge or flap fitting which can be moved out of the position received in the recess with one fitting part on the end side of the plate body. The installation space inside the furniture carcass can thus be optimally utilized.

Detailed Description
The furniture board 1 comprises a board body 2, which is made of, for example, a wood material, in particular a particle board, such as a medium-density or high-density fiberboard. A furniture fitting 4 is fixed to a recess of the panel body 2. The furniture fitting has a pivotable arm and is designed as a flap fitting. The housing of the furniture fitting 4 comprises a plate, the surface of which is flush aligned with the upper side of the plate 2 in the assembled position.
Fig. 2 shows the structure of the furniture plate 1. The plate body 2 is provided with a hollow portion 20 having a rectangular parallelepiped shape, but may have another contour shape. A shell-like adapter 3, which has a receptacle for the furniture fitting 4, is inserted into the recess 20.
Fig. 3 shows the recess 20 in the plate body 2 and the adapter 3 in more detail. The hollow 20 comprises three walls 22, 23 and 24 which extend substantially perpendicularly to the plane of the panel 2 and are interconnected on one side by a floor section which forms the outer wall of the panel 2. As an alternative, the recess 20 can also be designed as a through-opening and the floor section can be dispensed with.
Around the periphery of the hollow 20, at least one side, in the embodiment shown, both sides, there is a step 21 having a thickness which is smaller than the thickness of the plate body 2. On this step 21, a plurality of openings 25 in the form of bores are introduced (produced) in the plate body 2. The longitudinal axes of the bores extend perpendicularly to the plane of the plate body 2. In addition, a chamfer for positioning and fixing the adapter 3 is formed in the recess 20 between the side walls 22 and 23.
The adapter 3 then comprises three side walls 30, 31 and 32 arranged in a U shape, which rest against the walls 22, 23 and 24 and can be fixed there via a fastening mechanism or adhesive. Between the side walls 30, 31 and 32, a base plate 36 is provided, which is arranged on the base plate section of the recess 20 and can likewise be glued thereto. In the illustrated embodiment, the adapter 3 is formed as a shell on three sides, while an opening for the passage of the movable fitting part is provided on the fourth side. Alternatively, the bottom plate 36 may be omitted. Between the side walls 30 and 31, a chamfer slope 34 is provided, which abuts against the inclined surface 27 of the recess 20.
The adapter 3 has, on several sides, outwardly projecting flanges 33, which are angled with respect to the side walls 30, 31 and 32, relative to the center point of the adapter. The flange 33 can rest on a step 21 arranged adjacent to the recess.
As shown in fig. 4, one or more locating pins 35 are formed on the flange 33. The locking pin 35 can be designed as a dowel, a cylindrical dowel shaft or a pin with another cross section, wherein a cylindrical shape allows a simple assembly, since the opening 25 can be drilled. For assembly, the positioning pins 35 can be inserted into the openings 25 and the adapter 3 can be glued to the plate body 2, as is shown in fig. 5.
In the assembled position, the adapter 3 is arranged such that the outwardly projecting flange 33 surface is substantially flush aligned with the surface 26 of the plate body 2. The furniture fitting 4 is then fitted, for example by gluing or mechanical fastening means, in the adapter 3 which is positioned precisely in the plate body 2 via the positioning pins 35. The adapter 3 can be made of plastic or metal, for example, and is used to absorb forces from the furniture fitting 4.
Fig. 6 shows a modified embodiment of a furniture plate 1'. In the furniture plate 1 ', a plurality of connecting means 6 in the form of projecting pins are formed on a modified adapter 3' and project from one end face of the furniture plate 1 'in order to connect the furniture plate 1' to another furniture plate (for example a base plate or an upper base plate).
Fig. 7 shows the structure of a furniture plate 1'. The furniture plate 1 'comprises a plate body 2' which-unlike in the preceding embodiments-has a recess 20 'which is bounded only by two walls 22 and 23 of the plate body 2'. Furthermore, a floor section is formed on the plate body at the recess 20'. The hollow 20' is open at both end sides. A modified adapter 3 'is inserted into the recess 20' and has a receptacle into which a furniture fitting 4 is inserted, which furniture fitting has a pivotable arm 5, which is designed in the same way as in the previous exemplary embodiment.
As shown in fig. 8, first of all recesses 20 'are produced in the plate body 2', which have a step 21 at the location adjacent to the walls 22 and 23 and on which step 21 an opening 25, in particular a bore, is provided in each case.
The adapter 3' comprises side walls 30, 31 and 32 arranged in a U-shape, which are connected to each other via a base plate 36. At least the two side walls 30 and 31 are provided with outwardly projecting flanges 33 which can be inserted into the step 21. As shown in fig. 9, one or more positioning pins 35 are provided on the outwardly projecting flange 33, said positioning pins being of substantially cylindrical configuration with a profiled (toothed) structure, wherein the longitudinal axis of the positioning pin 35 extends perpendicularly to the plate body 2' in the assembled position. For assembly, the positioning pins 35 are inserted into the openings 25 and, as an alternative, are glued.
In fig. 10, the adapter piece 3 'has been assembled on the plate body 2'. When the furniture fitting 4 is inserted into the receiving seat on the adapter piece 3 ', the surface of the furniture fitting 4 can be aligned substantially flush with the surface 26 of the plate body 2'.
Fig. 11 shows a piece of furniture 10 having a cabinet-shaped furniture carcass 11, on which furniture panels 1, which can be constructed according to fig. 1 or 6, are arranged on opposite sides. A furniture fitting 4 is mounted on each of the two furniture plates 1 and has a pivotable arm 5, on which a pivotable flap 12 is mounted. The piece of furniture 10 therefore comprises a pivotable flap 12, wherein, as an alternative, a cabinet door can be provided which can be pivoted substantially about a vertical axis. Thus, as furniture fittings, hinges may be used instead of flip fittings.
Fig. 12 shows a variant of the adapter 3 ″ which is of substantially U-shaped design and does not comprise a floor section. The adapter 3 ″ comprises two legs 40, which are connected to one another via a connecting section 41. On the adapter 3 ″ on the side facing the receiving seat for the furniture fitting, a groove 42 and a projection 43 are formed, which are, for example, dovetail-shaped, so that the furniture fitting 4 can likewise have a groove and a projection, which can be inserted in a form-fitting manner into the groove 42. Other geometries can also be used on the adapter part 3 ″ in order to fix the furniture fitting 4 in a form-fitting manner. On the adapter 3 ″ an outwardly projecting web-like collar 33 is formed on one side, on which two mutually spaced-apart positioning pins 35 are provided, which can be inserted into the openings 25 in the plate body 2, as already explained above.
