Roof tents for vehicles are already known from the prior art. In particular, they are intended to provide sleeping or lounging options. It is a common disadvantage of roof tents that the vehicle cannot be removed, for example to run errands without removing the roof tent. It is therefore often necessary to first assemble the tent in order to then be able to move the vehicle to another location. This is complicated and inconvenient.

Therefore, the objective technical task is to provide a roof tent for a vehicle that eliminates the disadvantages mentioned and in particular also enables the vehicle to be removable in order to be able to use the roof tent accordingly without a vehicle on the one hand and to use the vehicle flexibly if necessary on the other can.

The invention is thus based on a roof tent for a vehicle, the roof tent being connectable to a vehicle.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention it can be provided that at least one lifting means is included to raise the roof tent.

In this way, the removal of the vehicle can be additionally simplified, since the height of the roof tent can be changed in such a way that the vehicle can be removed without dismantling the roof tent.

In a further very advantageous development, the invention can also provide that the at least one lifting means is designed as an inflatable lifting means, preferably as a lifting air cushion, and is arranged in particular on a floor area of the roof tent.

According to the above statements, a vehicle can be removed very easily by lifting the roof tent, with the roof tent not needing to be dismantled and the roof tent thus still being usable without a vehicle. In a further very advantageous embodiment, it can be provided within the scope of the invention that the roof tent has a floor area on which the at least one lifting means is included and wherein the roof tent furthermore includes a lying area which is formed in a plane parallel to the floor area, with the lying area is at least partially designed as an inflatable lying area and / or is designed to communicate with the at least one air duct and wherein a support means is included to support the lying area.

This can increase the functionality of the roof tent. It is also particularly advantageous that a lying area of the roof tent can be used even if the vehicle is removed. It is also of great advantage that this lying area is preferably arranged in the area remote from the floor.

In a further development of the invention it can be provided that at least a partial area and / or a partial area of the lying area is made of a material different from the roof tent.

This embodiment also has the additional advantage that the lying area or the lying surface can be leveled independently of the vehicle. This is also an advantage compared to the current roof tent solutions, where the vehicle has to be aligned on uneven ground in order to be able to sleep evenly.

In addition, this configuration can also solve the problem of different vehicle heights very easily.
