Description
The present invention relates to a method for handling a thread at a workstation of a textile machine, in particular at a spinning station, a spinning machine. In this case, the thread is received by a spool and it is formed a thread loop with an attached thread portion and a discharged thread portion of the thread. The attached section of thread is separated by means of a work-station's own Fadenleiteinrichtung of the discharged thread section. The invention further relates to a device for handling a thread at a workstation of a textile machine with a working yarn thread guide as well as a workstation of a textile machine with a device for handling a thread.
The object of the present invention is to propose a method for handling a thread at a workstation of a textile machine, which allows a simple separation of the two thread sections of a thread loop. Furthermore, a corresponding device for handling a thread and a corresponding job of a textile machine to be proposed.
The object is solved with the features of the independent claims.
In a method for handling a thread at a workstation of a textile machine, in particular a spinning station of a spinning machine, the thread is picked up by a spool and a thread loop is formed with a thread section to be attached and a thread section to be removed. In the context of the present application, piecing or splicing on a spinning machine as well as splicing on a winding machine are understood as applying a thread. The attached thread section is thereby separated by means of a work-station own Fadenleiteinrichtung of the discharged thread section.
It is envisaged that the thread loop is stretched over at least one thread leading edge of the thread guide and that the thread is unwound from the reel counter to its regular take-off direction to separate the thread section to be attached from the thread section to be removed. The attached thread section is changed transversely to its longitudinal direction. The attached thread section is guided by the oscillating movement along the thread guide edge of Fadenleiteinrichtung and spent in a fixing nip the Fadenleiteinrichtung. Because the thread section to be attached experiences a lateral deflection as a result of the traversing movement, it is thus possible to separate the thread section to be attached from the thread section to be removed directly when the thread loop is pulled on. This can be done, for example, by means of a single movement of a feeder element, which raises the thread loop while at the same time tensioning it over the thread guide edge of the thread guide device. The thread thus passes directly when mounting the Thread loop automatically into the Fixierspalt. It is thus not necessary to move a suction nozzle several times or to provide further handling members to separate the two thread sections from each other. It is furthermore particularly advantageous in the separation of the thread section to be attached from the thread section to be removed by means of the traversing movement during rewinding that the thread guide device can be designed in a particularly simple manner and arranged at the workstation.
The device for handling a thread accordingly has a work station own thread guide, by means of which the two thread sections of the thread loop are separated from each other. The yarn guide comprises two rigid, i. stationary and immovable, and arranged side by side at the work Fadenleitbleche which each have a Fadenleitkante and which form between them a Fixierspalt for the applied thread section. The Fadenleiteinrichtung can characterized in that the traversing movement is used during rewinding of the applied thread section for separating the two thread sections in a particularly simple manner and arranged at the spinning station, without disturbing the regular operation. A workstation of a textile machine advantageously has a corresponding device for handling a thread with a thread guiding device.
In a particularly advantageous manner, the fixing gap extends substantially perpendicular to the yarn guide edge. The thread thus passes due to the fact that it is stretched over the Fadenleitkante, due to the traversing movement automatically in the fixing and is fixed there.
It is therefore also particularly advantageous if the Fadenleitbleche are arranged on a paraffining device of the workplace and preferably form cover plates for a paraffin body. It can thus be formed in such a way already existing at the workplace waxing device that it can also act thread guide at the same time. In this case, instead of conventional cover plates for the paraffining device provided with a thread guide thread guide plates are arranged. The structural complexity of the yarn guide is thus reduced and the yarn guide can be made particularly inexpensive.
It is furthermore advantageous if the thread loop is formed by means of a pivoting movement of a pivotable, preferably working-own feeder element and over which at least one thread guide edge is tensioned. The device includes a workstation's own feeder organ. The method and the device can thus be used in a particularly favorable manner at a job that is self-sufficient and even has a maintenance device, but at least a Ansetzorgan, since only a single body for forming the thread loop, for separating the two thread sections and in a particularly advantageous embodiment for inserting the thread section to be applied in the regular yarn path is required.
In the method, it is also advantageous if the thread is unwound from the spool during the pivotal movement of the feeder element, in particular already at the beginning of the pivoting movement, counter to its regular withdrawal direction. In this way, the piecing process can be accelerated overall, especially when it is necessary to remove a faulty piece from the thread by rewinding. However, it is also possible to receive a larger amount of thread in the suction nozzle when picking up the thread from the spool, from which then the thread loop can be formed. It would thus also be possible first to raise the thread loop and to stretch over the thread guide edge and only then to restart the return of the thread.
It is also particularly advantageous in the method for handling a thread when the thread section to be attached is inserted by means of the pivoting movement of the feeder element in a regular yarn path at the work site. There are thus no further handling organs at the workplace required, which take over the attached thread section of the feeder element. Rather, the applied thread section can be spent before piecing back into its regular yarn path.
For inserting the thread section to be attached in the regular yarn path, it is advantageous if the thread is further unwound from the spool counter to its regular take-off direction, wherein the thread section to be attached is led out of the fixing nip of the thread guiding device.
In the apparatus for handling a thread, it is therefore advantageous if the Fadenleitbleche each have a second yarn guide edge, which is preferably oriented perpendicular to the first yarn guide edge. However, it is also possible for the second thread guide edge and the first thread guide edge to enclose an angle of 75-105 ° with each other. In this way, for example, a fixing nip in the form of an upwardly open V can be formed, which facilitates the movement of the applied thread section into the fixing nip and the insertion into the regular yarn path by sliding along the oblique, second yarn guide edge. In the method for handling a thread is to lead out of the fixing of the to be attached thread section along at least a second thread leading edge.
It is also advantageous if, after inserting the thread section to be attached into the regular thread run, the thread section to be removed is separated from the section of thread to be applied and the thread section to be attached is prepared and applied for attachment. The attached thread section can be fixed by means of existing anyway on the textile machine working organs, so that handling organs can be saved for inserting the thread or passing the thread to other handling organs.
According to a development of the device for handling a thread, it is furthermore advantageous if at least one of the first thread guide edges has an extension which partially covers the fixing gap. The unwanted sliding out of the thread from the fixing nip can be avoided thereby.
