Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kochfeld (1), insbesondere ein Induktionskochfeld, welches eine Glaskeramikkochfläche aufweist, in der mehrere, elektrisch beheizbare Kochstellen (21 bis 24) oder Kochzonen gebildet werden können, mit einer in der Glaskeramikkochfläche (4) integrierten Bedien- und Anzeigeeinrichtung (3), durch die in Verbindung mit einer Steuereinrichtung (5) des Gerätes die Beheizung der Kochstellen oder Kochzonen gesteuert werden kann, wobei die Bedien- und Anzeigeeinrichtung (3) ein als Touchscreen ausgebildetes Display (30) umfasst, über das die Programm- und Leistungsparameter für das Gerät angezeigt werden können und durch Touchbefehle einstellbar sind. Für die erfindungsgemäße Ausbildung der Bedien- und Anzeigeeinrichtung (3) ist vorgesehen, dass im Display (30) des Touchscreens (3) die auszuwählenden Kochstellen (21–24) oder die Auswahl der einzurichtenden Kochzonen darstellbar sind, dass nach der Auswahl einer Kochstelle (21) oder Kochzone das Display (30) in den Einstellmodus für diese Kochstelle (21) oder Kochzone wechselt und im Display (30) zwei Displaybereiche (31, 32) gebildet werden, dass in dem einen Displaybereich (32) auswählbare und einstellbare Betriebsfunktionen der ausgewählten Kochstelle (21) oder Kochzone dargestellt werden, und dass parallel dazu in dem anderen Displaybereich (31) die bereits im Einstellmodus befindliche Kochstelle (21) oder Kochzone sowie eine oder mehrere Kochstellen (22) oder Kochzonen darstellbar sind, die sich in direkter Anwahlbereitschaft befinden.
