  • The invention relates to a connector part according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a connector part comprises a connector housing for plug-in connection with an associated mating connector part. On the connector housing, a cable insertion device is arranged, which serves for introducing at least one line into the connector housing.
  • At one of the DE 20 2013 001 891 U1 known connector part, a cable insertion device can be attached to a connector housing. On the cable entry device, a union nut can be screwed to lock in this way a guided through the cable insertion device towards the connector housing line clamped to the connector housing.
  • Today, there is a need to populate connector housings with different contact inserts to provide different connectors with contacts of different arrangement and number. Such contact inserts can be modular and used in a modular manner in a connector housing.   • Conventional cable entry devices may not be suitable for such variable, modular use.

  • Object of the present invention is to provide a connector part available that allows in a simple, variable way, an insertion of different lines in a connector housing and thus can be equipped, for example, with different contact inserts.
  • This object is achieved by an article having the features of claim 1.
  • Accordingly, the cable insertion device comprises
    • - A frame with two frame parts which are attachable to each other and limit in a juxtaposed position a frame opening, and
    • - At least one sealing element with at least one passage opening for introducing at least one line along a longitudinal direction in the connector housing.
  • The frame is designed to receive the at least one sealing element in the frame opening.
  • The present invention is based on the idea of combining a cable entry system, as has conventionally been used, for example, on a control cabinet, with a connector part. For this purpose, a cable insertion device is used, which has a frame consisting of two frame parts. The frame parts can be attached to each other and limit in a position in which they are attached to each other, a frame opening between them, in which one or more sealing elements can be accommodated. Each sealing element in this case comprises one or more passage openings for passing one or more lines into the connector housing, so that via the sealing elements, the lines can be held in a sealed manner on the frame and guided into the connector housing.
  • The frame parts can preferably be attached to one another along a direction of attachment directed transversely to the longitudinal direction. The frame parts, for example, realize two frame halves, each having an approximately U-shaped configuration and limit in the juxtaposed position a rectangular frame opening on which one or more sealing elements can be accommodated.
  • The frame parts can preferably be braced against each other via at least one tensioning element in the position set against one another in order to receive one or more sealing elements in the frame opening and to secure them in a clamped manner in their position on the frame. The sealing elements are in this case preferably received on the frame, that a transition between the sealing elements and the Frame is sealed moisture-proof, so that by means of the cable insertion device, the interior of the connector housing is protected against moisture and dirt.
  • Such a clamping element may for example be designed as a screw, by means of which the frame parts can be screwed in a tightening manner against each other. However, such a clamping element can also be configured, for example, as a latching element or the like, by means of which a latching connection between the frame parts can be produced.
  • The at least one sealing element is preferably made of an elastic material, for example an elastomer. This allows a clamping of one or more sealing elements in the frame opening and also a sealing contact of the sealing element on a guided through a passage opening line.
  • The frame parts may for example limit a rectangular frame opening. The frame opening extends in a frame plane, which is directed transversely to the longitudinal direction, along which one or more lines are to be guided through the sealing elements and thus through the frame opening. The frame parts can be set in the frame plane (transverse to the longitudinal direction) to each other to receive sealing elements on the frame opening, and can also be separated again to exchange one or more sealing elements.
  • The at least one sealing element has e.g. a rectangular, for example, square shape. If a single sealing element is to be received on the frame opening, this corresponds in shape to the shape of the frame opening, so that the sealing element can be held in a sealing manner on the frame. If a plurality of sealing elements are to be received on the frame opening, then the sealing elements can be attached to each other so that they can be fitted together in a sealing manner in the frame opening.
  • In order to arrange a line on a sealing element, the sealing element preferably has an insertion slot which opens the passage opening attached to the sealing element along a direction of insertion directed transversely to the longitudinal direction. Through the insertion slot, the line can thus be introduced into the passage opening in the direction of insertion directed transversely to the longitudinal direction. Through the insertion slot, the lead-through opening is thus opened circumferentially (viewed in the circumferential direction about the longitudinal direction) in one place.
  • If a plurality of leadthrough openings are arranged on a sealing element, these are each opened via an insertion slot to the outside or also connected to one another via insertion slots, so that a lead can be inserted into each leadthrough opening.
  • Characterized in that a line can be introduced via the insertion slot transversely to the longitudinal direction in an associated passage opening, it is unnecessary to thread a lead through the passage opening. The attachment of a line to a sealing element is thus simple and uncomplicated, wherein after the attachment of a line, the sealing element is sealingly in contact with the line when it is received on the frame.
  • The lead-in device is in a pre-assembled state, preferably with separate frame parts separately from the connector housing. For assembling a connector part lines are brought into contact with a contact insert. On the lines sealing elements are arranged and received by attaching the frame parts to each other in the frame opening. In order then to bring the frame of the cable entry device with the connector housing in connection, the frame is attached to the connector housing, for example screwed via suitable attachment points with the connector housing, so that in an assembled state, the cable insertion device and the connector housing are interconnected and the lines over at the frame opening recorded sealing elements are inserted into the connector housing.
  • The connector housing has in one embodiment, for example, a plug-in portion which can be brought into engagement with an associated plug-in opening of a mating connector part. Such a plug-in portion may for example be part of a contact insert, which can be used modularly in the connector housing. It is also conceivable and possible, however, that a plug-in section is formed by a housing section directly on the connector housing.
  • In principle, different lines can be introduced into the connector housing via a cable entry device of the type described here. Such lines may be, for example, electrical lines or pneumatic lines. In principle, however, the lines can also be designed differently, for example as hydraulic lines or the like.
  • A connector part of the type described here can be provided and delivered as a kit. Such a kit comprises a connector housing and a cable entry device with a frame consisting of two frame parts. The kit can be delivered here with a set of different sealing elements, wherein the sealing elements differ, for example, in their outer dimensions (viewed in the frame plane transverse to the longitudinal direction) and / or in the size and / or number of passage openings.
  • For example, a large sealing element can correspond in size to the size of the frame opening, so that this large sealing element can be accommodated as a single sealing element on the frame. Other sealing elements may be smaller in size so that they can be received together with other sealing elements on the frame opening of the frame. A sealing element can in this case, for example, receive one or more lines, wherein the passage openings are formed on the sealing elements in dependence on a male pipe diameter.
  • By providing a user with a set of different sealing elements, the user can assemble and use the sealing elements in a desired, modular fashion so that the connector part can be variably adapted for use with very different conduits.
