Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Überbauelement (5; 5'; 5'') für eine an einem Duschplatz (100; 101; 102; 103; 104) installierte Ablaufeinrichtung (2), umfassend einen kastenförmigen Hohlkörper (27), welcher im einmontierten Zustand eine spaltartige Einlauföffnung (7) für abfließendes Duschwasser aufweist, wobei der Duschplatz (100; 101; 102; 103; 104) einen Duschboden (1; 1'; 1''; 1'''; 1'''') aufweist, welcher wenigstens ein zur Ablaufeinrichtung (2, 10) hin auslaufendes Gefälle (12) bildet. Gemäß Erfindung ist der Hohlkörper (27) in einem Einstiegsbereich (4) des Duschplatzes (101) angeordnet und bildet im montierten Zustand eine über eine Trittfläche (11) des Duschbodens (1, 1'; 1''; 1'''; 1'''') ragende Duscheintrittsschwelle (31; 32; 33; 34; 39; 52), welche eine freie, begehbare und trittfeste Oberseite (28) aufweist. Der Hohlkörper (27) stellt vorzugsweise ein L-, C- oder U-Profil dar. Die Trittfläche (11) des Duschbodens kann plan oder konkav sein. – Zum vierten kann sie in einen nicht-rechteckigen, beispielsweise fünfeckigen Duschplatz eingebaut sein.
