Diese Verbindung bricht insbesondere durch Hinzufügung von Feuchtigkeit auf. Bevorzugt ist das Trägermolekül Titandioxid. An diesem lagern sich insbesondere die positiv geladenen Silberionen oder der positiv geladene Teil des Silberchloridmoleküls an. In einer anderen bevorzugten Ausgestaltung der Erfindung wird als Fluorcarbon ein C6-Fluorcarbon verwendet. C6-Fluorcarbon ist besonders umweltverträglich und gewährleistet gleichzeitig eine wasserabweisende Ausstattung des Sitzbezugs. Das Antistatikum weist bevorzugt eine Armoniumkomponente auf. Mit einem Antistatikum lässt sich ein Oberflächenwiderstand in der Größenordnung von 1 × 109 Ω erreichen. Ohne das Antistatikum würde der Widerstand typischerweise bei 1 × 1012 Ω oder darüber liegen. Dadurch wird eine weitergehende Aufladung vermieden und der Sitzkomfort erhöht. Das Flammschutzmittel weist bevorzugt Phosphonate auf. Der Sitzbezug besteht bevorzugt aus Polyester.
