Abstract
Description
The The present invention relates to a cationically finished textile material according to the preamble of claim 1. The cationic invention equipped Textile material is particularly suitable for use for purposes the prevention of discoloration or graying of textiles during the washing process.
At the Washing clothes dissolve as part of the washing process in the wash liquor not only the pollution, but undesirably also textile dyes from textiles in the wash liquor. There is a risk that through the undesirable emitted dyes simultaneously other in the wash liquor (z. B. in a washing machine drum) located textiles or garments discolored or stained become; an unwanted color transfer from one textile to the other with an unwanted discoloration the episode, and white or bright textiles get an undesirable gray haze. At colored, for example, patterned (eg, striped or dotted) Textiles can cause discoloration but also occur within the same textile.
Of the Process of unwanted ink transfer by the so-called bleeding or by the release of textile dyes can not be prevented by detergents.
It are a variety of reasons why dyes can detach from textiles, so this problem very much complex. To ensure a permanent discoloration of textiles, Different fibers require different classes of dyes and staining procedures. Do not the dyes with a sufficiently strong bond bonded to the fibers or as a water-insoluble pigment in the fibers stored, they move during the laundry due to the concentration gradient of Dye-rich textile to the dye-poor wash liquor out and can there again to raise other textiles and this unwanted discolor. This process is temperature dependent. In the washing process is Therefore, the temperature is the most important parameter, with increasing Washing temperature and the risk of discoloration increases. on the other hand can heavy soiling partly only by washing at relatively high Temperatures are removed.
At long last So it remains to note that mobile Dyes from bunny washes the main cause of the graying and the unwanted discoloration of textiles are. As described above, this process can be the undesirable ink transfer by the unwanted Bleeding or by the unwanted Dispensing of textile dyes also not prevented by detergents become.
Zudem lassen sich auf diese Weise keine Verfärbungen von buntgefärbten Textilien innerhalb desselben Textils verhindern.this Problem one tries to meet according to the prior art so that in many households do the laundry sorted by color (eg red laundry only with red laundry, bright Only laundry with light laundry Etc.). But this has the disadvantage that initially the contaminated laundry so kept for a long time and must be collected until sufficient laundry for filling a washing machine drum is present. In addition, can be on this Do not discolor of brightly colored Prevent textiles within the same textile.
Farther In the prior art, it was tried undesirably in the wash liquor intercept released dyes so to speak. For this purpose are in the trade for the disposable use of certain towels based on a fleece (eg viscose fleece or cellulose fleece) available in the stores, which has a certain affinity across from Textile dyes and these in some ways from the wash liquor to intercept and to some extent harmless to do. Disadvantage of this commercially available Towels for Protection against discoloration For one thing, that's it are only disposable materials, which only for one Washing process are designed as the material is not so durable is that there are several Washes survives, and second, that the equipment with the "dye scavengers" not configured she can be sufficiently for one Variety of washes to disposal stands.
A The object underlying the present invention is therefore in the provision of an agent which is suitable before described problem of unwanted discoloration to prevent textiles in the wash liquor, and preferably the disadvantages associated with the previously described prior art at least partially avoid or at least mitigate.
In particular, it is an object of the present invention to provide a textile material which is capable of avoiding the undesirable discoloration of textiles in a wash liquor is, in particular able to absorb unwanted released textile dyes from the wash liquor or "intercept" and in this way to prevent discoloration of the other textiles located in the wash liquor or prevent.
The above object is inventively a cationic equipped textile material proposed according to claim 1; further, advantageous embodiments are the subject of the relevant Dependent claims.
Das kationisch ausgerüstete Textilmaterial zeichnet sich insbesondere dadurch aus, daß das Textilmaterial zumindest teilweise aufgerauht ist (d. h. die Oberfläche des Textilmaterials auf einer oder beiden Seiten des Textilmaterials aufgerauht ist, wie nachfolgend noch beschrieben).object the present invention is thus a cationically finished textile material, in particular in the form of a cloth, cloth or the like, wherein the textile material is a textile fabric of textile fibers wherein the fibers are provided with a permanent cationic finish are. The cationically equipped Textile material is characterized in particular by the fact that the textile material at least partially roughened (i.e., the surface of the Textile material on one or both sides of the textile material roughened, as described below).
The cationic according to the invention equipped Textile material is particularly suitable for use or for use in a wash liquor, in which it together with the to be washed or to be cleaned textiles, for example in the drum a washing machine. Due to the specific properties of the fabric according to the invention, namely the presence of cationic equipment in combination with a Roughening or roughening the textile material, it is particularly suitable Way to prevent unwanted discoloration of in the wash liquor located textiles, as it is capable of a high degree is, undesirably to permanently absorb released textile dyes from the wash liquor or "intercept". In other words the textile material according to the invention acts so to speak as a "dye receptor" for dye molecules or particles (i.e., textile dyes) which are present during the washing process of the ones to be washed, dyed Textiles replaced have and therefore first free in the wash liquor. Due to the effective fixation this located in the wash liquor dye molecules or particles on the textile material according to the invention is using the textile material according to the invention in one Wash liquor an effective elimination of undesirable released dyes ensured from the wash liquor, with the result that these released dyes other textiles in the wash liquor do not discolour can.
What the formation of the textile material according to the invention in the form of a cloth, cloth or the like, it is below this any two-dimensional flat structure with limited Measures or Understanding dimensions, wherein the shape of the textile material according to the invention for example, round or preferably substantially rectangular can be.
The cationic equipment of the textile material according to the invention can be done in a manner known per se to those skilled in the art. So, for example a treatment with in itself for For this purpose known cationizing agents take place, whereupon will be discussed in detail. The treatment of the textile material according to the invention with a cationizing agent may, for. B. in the context of a padding, wherein a physical and / or chemical bond of the cationizing agent to the fibers of the textile fabric can be done, for example via ionic and / or covalent bonds.
According to the invention is under the term "roughening" in particular Roughening or roughening especially the surface of the textile material. It is possible according to the invention that the surface of the Textile material only partially or preferably completely roughened is. According to one preferred according to the invention embodiment is the surface Completely, d. H. above the entire area, roughened. The roughening of the textile material according to the invention may be unilateral or on both sides, preferably on both sides. With others Words is in the context of the invention, at least one of the two surfaces or Pages of the textile material according to the invention roughened or roughened, it being preferred according to the invention that both surfaces or pages are roughened. The roughening can with the expert be carried out known methods or means. Such is for example and in non-limiting A mechanical roughening by means of a wire brush possible.
A peculiarity of the present invention provided roughening of the textile material according to the invention is to be seen in the fact that thereby a certain increase in surface area is achieved, whereby a better and more stable Aufziehbarkeit the cationizing agent is achieved. Because of the surface enlargement, a larger amount of the cationizing agent can be bound, so that a total of a larger number of binding sites for dye molecules to be fixed on the textile support material or the textile material according to the invention is present. As a result, overall, a significantly improved performance achieved ability of the textile material according to the invention, since the total amount of dyes which can be absorbed per unit area of the textile material according to the invention, is significantly increased. Overall, therefore, according to the invention, there is a cationically finished textile material which, due to the roughening provided according to the invention, can absorb a significantly increased amount of dyes to be eliminated from a wash liquor. Without wishing to be limited to one theory in the context of the present invention, the surface enlargement caused by the roughening is achieved, for example, by partially splitting the fibers on their surface or by increasing the fiber spacing on the surface of the textile material according to the invention that in addition to the surface enlargement and the associated increase in the number of possible binding sites for the dyes to be eliminated after cationization also results in better accessibility of the textile material for the liberated dyes present in the wash liquor.
The Amount of cationizing agent used can be in a wide range vary, with the person skilled in this field readily is able to match the application specific circumstances respectively matched Select quantities. In general, the cationizing agent is used in quantities (dry weight) from 0.001 to 10% by weight, especially 0.01 to 6% by weight, especially preferably 0.1 to 5 wt .-%, based on the cationically finished textile Fabrics, Applied or applied.
According to one particularly according to the invention preferred embodiment comprises the textile fabric of the textile material according to the invention native fibers, or preferably consists essentially thereof. The native fibers are in particular cotton or wool fibers, more preferably cotton fibers. The invention preferred used native fibers, especially cotton fibers have the advantage that they to a particularly good Aufziehbarkeit or fixation of the cationizing agent to lead, which leads to a stable binding of the cationizing agent to the Fibers leads. From this results in a particularly high wash stability of the textile material according to the invention, so it's easy even at high washing temperatures, for example as part of a Cottons, and over a variety of washes can be used without this with a loss or release of the cationizing agent from the textile material according to the invention leads. As previously mentioned, the fabric is of the textile material according to the invention preferably a pure cotton fabric, in particular a Cotton fabric. However, according to the invention are equally called Cotton blend fabrics can be used, which in addition to cotton fibers and the expert in itself comprise known synthetic fibers, wherein the cotton content in such mixed surfaces should preferably be more than 50%.
Within the scope of the present invention, the textile fabric can of the textile material according to the invention a woven or nonwoven fabric. It is preferred according to the invention in the textile fabric but a fabric, more preferably a cotton fabric. According to one preferred according to the invention embodiment is the textile fabric a so-called cotton molton, which is 100% cotton, roughened soft fabric is.
What the permanent cationic equipment As regards the fibers, this is done by applying or fixing a cationizing agent. Such methods for permanent equipment of the textile material according to the invention with a cationizing agent are known in the art as such.
For example the treatment of the textile material according to the invention with the Cationizing agent in the so-called Aufziehverfahren by treatment of the textile material with the application liquor, d. H. for example with a solution, Dispersion or the like of the cationizing agent, take place. During this Operation draws used in the context of the present invention Cationizing agents, preferably under weakly acidic conditions, from the application to the substrate to be treated evenly. Subsequently can be a pre-drying, for example by centrifuging or squeezing on a pad ("padding"), and a final drying cut, for example, at 100 to 160 ° C, take place. In other words, a certain "impregnation" of the textile material according to the invention thus takes place the cationizing agent by the for the textile material according to the invention used textile fabrics immersed in a bath containing the cationizing agent is, followed by a squeezing or drying of the textile surface material followed by a final drying at elevated temperatures, in particular as mentioned above. As previously stated, the fixation of the cationizing agent takes place on the textile Fabrics - without themselves to want to fix on a certain theory - by a connection to the with the fibers, the fixation being via physical and / or chemical processes can take place, for example by training of ionic and / or covalent bonds between the fibers on the one hand and the cationizing agent on the other. Therefore, be preferred according to the invention fiber-reactive cationizing agents used.
The cationizing agents used in the present invention are well-known in the art as such, the person skilled per se familiar are. Such a cationizing agent should have a high affinity to anionic Substances, in particular anionic dyes, have.
According to one preferred according to the invention embodiment For example, the cationizing agent may be a quaternary ammonium group containing organic polymer act. In particular, in the In the context of the present invention, cationizing agents based on a copolymer having polyammonium blocks. Particularly according to the invention preferred is the use of organopolysiloxane / polyammonium block copolymers as a cationizing agent, in particular those with statistical or but alternately arranged blocks of the aforementioned type.
Of the One skilled in the art will readily be able to use suitable cationizing agents for use for the textile material according to the invention select.
The cationically finished textile material according to the invention is particularly suitable for use for the purpose of preventing discoloration or graying of textiles in the laundry or for preventing deposits of dyes on textiles in the laundry. This way a can Transfer of dyes within a wash liquor, in particular from one textile to the other, but also within the same textile (eg in colorful or patterned textiles), prevented or avoided. It is provided in particular that the cationically finished textile material according to the invention during the washing process of textiles in the wash liquor, in particular in the washing drum of a washing machine, is present. In other words, the cationically finished textile material according to the invention, like a conventional textile piece, can to a certain extent be washed along with other textiles in the wash liquor - essentially during the entire washing process. In this case, the use of the cationically finished textile material according to the present invention extends over a wide range: Thus, for example, a use for conventional washes at 30 ° C and for cooking washes at 95 ° C may be provided. The cationic finished fabric of the present invention can be used for all kinds of textiles such as coloreds and the like, regardless of the material properties.
- The cationically finished textile material according to the invention effectively prevents undesired discoloration of textiles in a wash liquor, in particular unwanted release of textile dyestuffs from the wash liquor being "intercepted" so that they are effectively rendered harmless to other textiles. In other words, the cationically active textile material according to the invention effectively protects against discoloration.
- The cationically finished textile material according to the invention is designed as a reusable article and can be used for numerous washing operations, wherein a total of up to fifty washing processes can be realized, depending on the type of use of the textile material according to the invention. This not least represents a significant cost savings and environmental relief.
- - Due to the inventively provided roughening of the cationically coated textile material according to the invention, the surface is significantly increased, so that in this way a particularly large on acquisition or fixing capacity for the applied cationizing agent is obtained. Thus, the present invention cationically finished textile material has an extremely high absorption capacity for dyes.
- - The cationically finished textile material according to the invention is extremely hard-wearing due to the materials used and the special fixation of the cationizing agent, so that it can be used for example for cooking linen at relatively high temperatures.
- The use of the cationically finished textile material according to the invention is not limited to certain textiles or fabrics. Thus, the textile material according to the invention can be used for all types of laundry, such as coloreds, underwear, outerwear and the like.
- - Finally, the use of the textile material according to the invention is extremely simple, since it is just like a conventional laundry together with the textiles or clothing to be washed in the washing machine or in the drum of the washing machine.
