Wie die Erfindung weiter vorsieht, kann das Handbremsseil durch eine vornehmlich in Fahrzeuglängsrichtung weisende, gegenüberliegende Wandungsabschnitte des Torsionsprofils des Querträgers durchdringende Bohrung hindurch geführt sein, wodurch die Montage des Handbremsseils erleichtert ist, indem dasselbe durch besagte Bohrung hindurch gefädelt wird. Vorteilhaft kann dabei in der Bohrung eine Führungshülse für das Handbremsseil angeordnet sei, um die Montage des Handbremsseils weiter zu erleichtern und dasselbe vor Beschädigung an etwaigen scharfen Kanten der Wandung des Torsionsprofils zu bewahren. Besagte Führungshülse kann vorteilhafterweise einenends am zugeordneten Wandungsabschnitt sowohl radial als auch axial fest und anderends am zugeordneten Wandungsabschnitt zumindest axial verschieblich angeordnet sein. Durch diese Maßnahme respektive die einseitige radiale sowie axiale Festlegung der Führungshülse am Torsionsprofil sind etwaige Beschädigungen an derselben durch die Verformung des Torsionsprofils während des Betriebs des Fahrzeugs und daraus sich ergebenden Verspannungen der Führungshülse vermieden. Weiter vorteilhaft kann die Führungshülse verdrehfest in der Bohrung angeordnet sein, wodurch ebenfalls nachteilige Verspannungen der Führungshülse und damit einhergehende etwaige Beschädigungen derselben und des Handbremsseils vermieden sind. Vorteilhaft sollte die Bohrung beabstandet zu angrenzenden Schweißverbindungen angeordnet sein, um eine Schwächung des Verbundes aus Querträger und Längslenker zu vermeiden. Insoweit wurde im Rahmen von Versuchen gefunden, dass besagte Beabstandung mindestens 5 mm betragen sollte. Als besonders vorteilhaft hat sich herausgestellt, wenn der Querträger in einem Anschlussbereich zu einem Längslenker von dem Handbremsseil durchdrungen ist. Besagter Anschlussbereich zu einem Längslenker kann dabei durch einen Bereich am Querlenker gebildet sein, an dem ein den Querträger und den Längslenker verbindendes Schottblech am Querträger festgelegt ist. In diesem Bereich sind eine Verformung des Torsionsprofils des Querträgers und etwaige daraus resultierende nachteilige Auswirkungen auf das durch das Torsionsprofil hindurchgeführte Handbremsseil minimiert. Des Weiteren ist durch besagtes Schottblech die an sich durch die Bohrung für das Handbremsseil erzeugte Schwächung des Torsionsprofils vorteilhaft aufgehoben. Ferner bietet es sich an, im besagten Anschlussbereich zu einem Längslenker eine Eckversteifung zwischen dem Längslenker und dem Querträger vorzusehen, welche beispielsweise durch einen an sich bekannten Federteller gebildet sein kann. Durch eine solche Maßnahme ist im Hinblick auf das durch das Torsionsprofil des Querträgers hindurchgeführte Handbremsseil in diesem Bereich die Verformung des Torsionsprofils vorteilhaft noch weiter verringert. Schließlich wird es als vorteilhaft erachtet, wenn eine etwaige der Bohrung axial vorgeordnete und/oder nachgeordnete Anbindung des Handbremsseils an der Verbundlenkerachse oder einem anderen geeigneten Bauteil derart angeordnet und ausgebildet ist, dass die Bohrung und besagte Anbindung nahezu in einer Flucht liegen.
