Abstract

Durch die vorliegende Erfindung wird ein Telefonvermittlungssystem bereitgestellt, das es einem Endgerät mit mehreren Telefonnummern ermöglicht, Rufe auf die gleiche Weise zu erzeugen und zu empfangen, wie ein Endgerät, das nur eine Telefonnummer hat. Wenn eine Verbindungsmanagementeinheit eines Agenten eine Rufanforderung von einem Endgerät empfängt, aktiviert sie eine Endgerätwähleinheit, während eine aktuelle Telefonnummer spezifiziert ist, und aktiviert außerdem eine Gegenstellenwähleinheit, um eine endgerätseitige Verbindung zwischen der aktuellen Telefonnummer des Endgeräts und dem Agenten und eine gegenstellenseitige Verbindung zwischen dem Agenten und dem Gegenstellenendgerät herzustellen. Wenn ein ankommender Ruf vom Gegenstellenendgerät ankommt, stellt die Verbindungsmanagementeinheit in Antwort auf den ankommenden Ruf eine gegenstellenseitige Verbindung her und aktiviert die Endgerätwähleinheit, während die aktuelle Telefonnummer spezifiziert ist, um eine endgerätseitige Verbindung herzustellen. Eine Kommunikationsvermittlungseinheit vermittelt den Ruf unter Verwendung der durch die Verbindungsmanagementeinheit hergestellten beiden Verbindungen.
