Abstract

Ein abrasives, präzipitiertes Siliciumdioxid, das Folgendes aufweist: – einen Brechungsindex von weniger als 1,4387; – eine Lichtdurchlässigkeit von mehr als 48% und – einen Brass-Einlehner-Abrasionswert von mehr als etwa 5 mg Verlust/100 000 Umdr.

Claims (8)

  1. Ein abrasives, präzipitiertes Siliciumdioxid, das Folgendes aufweist: – einen Brechungsindex von weniger als 1,4387; – eine Lichtdurchlässigkeit von mehr als 48% und – einen Brass-Einlehner-Abrasionswert von mehr als etwa 5 mg Verlust/100 000 Umdr.
  2. Siliciumdioxid gemäß Anspruch 2, wobei die Lichtdurchlässigkeit größer als 60 ist.
  3. Siliciumdioxid gemäß Anspruch 2, wobei der Brass-Einlehner-Abrasionswert größer als 5,5 mg Verlust/100 000 Umdrehungen ist.
  4. Ein Zahnreinigungsmittel, das das Siliciumdioxid gemäß Anspruch 1 beinhaltet.
  5. Zahnreinigungsmittel gemäß Anspruch 4, wobei die Zahnreinigungsmittelformulierung eine RDA von 50 bis 150 aufweist.
  6. Zahnreinigungsmittel gemäß Anspruch 4, wobei das Zahnreinigungsmittel von etwa 13 Gew.-% bis etwa 20 Gew.-% Wasser beinhaltet.
  7. Zahnreinigungsmittel gemäß Anspruch 4, wobei das Zahnreinigungsmittel transparent mit einem Trübungswert von weniger als 70 ist.
  8. Zahnreinigungsmittel gemäß Anspruch 4, wobei das Zahnreinigungsmittel transparent mit einem Trübungswert von weniger als 55 ist.
