Man kann das Erhitzen auch zweckmäßig so1 vornehmen, daß man die Temperatur der Polymerisate allmählich ansteigen läßt oder indem man das Material auf mehreren Temperaturstufen länger verweilen läßt. Dabei ist es zweckmäßig, in Abwesenheit von Sauerstoff oder in Gegenwart von nicht oxydierenden Gasen zu arbeiten, um Verfärbungen zu vermeiden.
