Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an arrangement for filtering exhaust air in the Laser processing of workpieces, especially circuit boards, with one an inlet opening for the exhaust air duct and an an exhaust air generating exhaust fan, the exhaust air by means of of the exhaust fan by at least one arranged in the exhaust air flow Filter device is eligible.
Modern processing methods and / or modern materials, especially composite materials, lead to the formation of fine, sometimes harmful dusts, which conventional filter systems cannot remove adequately from the exhaust air. Very fine dusts are generated, particularly when laser machining workpieces. The particle size can be less than one micrometer up to the limit of approximately 0.1 micrometer detectable by means of particle measuring devices. When processing printed circuit boards in the laser processing centers, in addition to these very fine dust particles, which, depending on the material combination being processed, can also be highly toxic, the heat input from the laser beam vaporizes, i.e. initially gaseous, printed circuit board material that changes into a sticky and firmer state as it cools down. In known filter devices, such as are usually used in solder fume extraction, the dust particles and vapors are extracted and filtered. The known devices have a pre-filter mat for coarse separation with a filter area of about 0.1 m 2 and a fine filter stage with about 4 m 2 filter area for the dust. In some cases the fine filter stage is followed by an active filter carbon stage for the separation of odors. A disadvantage of these filter devices is that the sticky components present in the extracted air stick the prefilter within a comparatively short time. This means that the filter inserts have to be changed daily. Due to the toxic load and the small, respirable particle size of less than 3 micrometers, protective clothing and respiratory protection must be worn when changing the filter inserts. Contamination of the surroundings of the machine and the filter cannot be ruled out due to the open handling of the filter elements.
Proceeding from this, the object of the present invention is an arrangement for filtering exhaust air in the laser processing of To provide workpieces that have a long filter life of the order of magnitude guaranteed one year and the resulting fine dusts as well reliably removes the sticky vapors and possibly odors. In addition, the change of filter elements for people and Environment should be contamination-free if possible.
To solve this problem, that specified in claim 1 Characteristic combination proposed. Advantageous configurations and Further developments of the invention result from the dependent Claims.
The invention is based primarily on the idea that a good and reliable filter effect is then achieved with long maintenance intervals can be used if several filter stages with a mechanical Pre-separator are provided. Therefore, according to the invention proposed that the arrangement a mechanical pre-separator and this has subordinate pre-filter and fine filter devices. The mechanical pre-separator is preferred by a number formed by baffles arranged in the exhaust air flow.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the pre-filter device has a roll band filter, which depends on the accumulating Exhaust air volume and the particles contained in it continuously or clocked provides unused filter material from a supply roll. The Roll belt filter is especially for separating the contained in the exhaust air determined sticky particles. Basically, belt filters are known, So far, however, they have only been used as large coarse filters for high volume flows used in ventilation technology. The specific Filter surface loading, d. H. the volume flow per inflow Area unit, is very high with more than 3 m / s. In the case of the invention However, the volume flows are comparatively lower, so that despite the compact design, sufficient filter material can be stored, by a very long service life of the roller belt filter in the order of to guarantee one year.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the mechanical Pre-separation device and the pre-filter device a structural unit with a common prefilter housing. Particularly preferred Embodiment of the invention is the roll band filter in a dustproof and / or self-closing when removed from the pre-filter housing Cassette housing arranged. This makes it possible to move the roll band filter Consumption of all filter material without any special Remove protective measures from the prefilter housing and use a new one Replace filter insert. It is advantageous if both Filter material as well as the cassette housing made of a fully incinerable material consist. According to a particularly preferred development of the invention the baffle plates are integrated in the cassette housing of the roll band filter, so that the entire pre-filter stage is interchangeable as a unit. This is a safe exchange of the pre-filter stage without any special Precautionary measures possible by the operating personnel. A particular advantage of Use of the roll belt filter as a preliminary stage to the fine filter unit in that the sticky components in the exhaust air stream from the latter are kept away and thus their service life is significantly extended.
The prefilter unit is followed by a fine filter unit, which is preferred has a HEPA filter (High Efficiency Particulate Arresting Filter). This HEPA fine filter stage can be in a further embodiment of the invention Activated carbon filter to separate odors before the filtered exhaust air exits outdoors. The fine filter elements are preferably in arranged a common fine filter housing, it from It is particularly advantageous if the HEPA filter element and / or the activated carbon filter similar to the roll band filter in dustproof and / or when removing from the self-sealing cassette housings are arranged. It is particularly advantageous if the HEPA filter element and the activated carbon filter in a common cassette housing are arranged.
It is also advantageous if the exhaust air flow between the Pre-filter device and the fine filter device with a deflection Flows through a deflection angle of at least 90 °, this deflection path can also be integrated in the fine filter housing. In addition, Area of the deflection section or at the end of it before the exhaust air flow enters the HEPA filter element is a cross-sectional expansion of the flow channel be provided to reduce the flow rate of the exhaust air flow. With these measures, an additional gravimetric separation of particles achieved. The HEPA filter and the Activated carbon filters and their cassette housings are preferably fully incinerable, so that used filter units in an incinerator can be disposed of without residue.
The individual filter units can do so with regard to their filter capacity be dimensioned so that their service lives are aligned, so that all filters are exchanged together at certain intervals, or they can be replaced individually if necessary. The control of the Feeding the roll belt filter and monitoring the load on the Fine filter can be used with conventional control and monitoring techniques respectively. For example, it can be time-dependent or in the filter stages Pressure difference dependent switching of the roll band filter or The fine filters are replaced.
In the following the invention is illustrated schematically in the drawing illustrated embodiment described in more detail, the only one Figure two arranged in the exhaust air filter housing with arranged therein Pre- and fine filtering shows.
The filter arrangement shown in FIG. 1 essentially consists of a pre-filter housing 10 and a fine filter housing 12 . The exhaust air flow 14 , which is extracted from a laser processing center by means of a suction fan (not shown in detail), first enters the prefilter housing 10 and is passed there through a baffle plate arrangement 16 , in which mechanical pre-separation of particles takes place. The further pre-filtration and in particular the separation of the sticky particles contained in the exhaust air flow takes place by means of a roller belt filter 18 , which has a supply roll 20 with fresh filter material and a take-up roll 22 for used filter material. The roller belt filter 18 is designed as a filter cassette and can be removed from the prefilter housing without releasing toxic particles.
The exhaust air flow 14 ′, which is prefiltered in this way, then enters the fine filter device 12 , where it first runs through a deflection section with subsequent cross-sectional expansion in order to achieve gravimetric separation of further particles. The subsequent fine filter 24 is designed as a HEPA filter (High Efficiency Particulate Arresting Filter).
This filter retains particles below the detection limit of approximately 0.1 micrometers. For separation, the HEPA filter 24 is followed by an activated carbon filter 26 . Finally, the exhaust air 14 ″ cleaned in this way is passed back out of the filter arrangement into the work space (recirculation mode) or into the open.
In summary, the following can be stated: The invention relates to an arrangement for filtering exhaust air during the laser processing of workpieces, in particular printed circuit boards, with an exhaust air duct having an inlet opening for the exhaust air 14 and an exhaust fan producing an exhaust air flow, the exhaust air 14 by means of the exhaust fan by at least a filter device 10 , 12 arranged in the exhaust air flow can be conveyed. In order to achieve a high filter effect and long service life of the filter units, it is provided according to the invention that the arrangement has a mechanical pre-separating device 16 and this pre-filter and fine filter devices 18 , 24 , 26 arranged downstream.
