Die von Zeit zu Zeit nötige Reinigung der Filterflächen von den an ihnen haftenden Staubteilchen bewirkt man entweder mit Hilfe von besonderen Abklopfvorrichtungen oder mittels des sogenannten Gegenstromes, indem man die Zuleitung fürIt is known to use for separating dust and other additions from gas Fabric filters through which the gases are sucked in or pressed. Which from time to time The necessary cleaning of the filter surfaces from the dust particles adhering to them is effected either with the help of special knocking devices or by means of the so-called Countercurrent by opening the feed line for
Diese Art der Reinigung ist bei der Filtration von Hochofengasen nötig, da hier durch Einführung von Frischluft Knallgas entstehen würde.ίο turns off the gases to be nitrated and for that pushes or sucks an oppositely directed air flow through the filter material. Even both remedies are used at the same time. The countercurrent process is also used in the Used in such a way that for cleaning a clogged filter, air that is not filled with dust, but already purified air is used. This type of cleaning is with filtration of blast furnace gases is necessary because the introduction of fresh air creates oxyhydrogen would.

Beispieles.. which further reduces the risk of explosion by preventing air from penetrating the filter through any leaks during the cleaning process.
The device is explained using the example shown schematically in the drawing.
To be filtered gases pass through a supply line α in which the filter housing containing b, c and d, from which they are sucked i by acting on the opposite end exhauster which, for the filtered gases through a conduit e at any point of use. B. in a boiler or power gas system, drives (Fig. 1). The pressure line e of this exhauster i (or of a special exhauster) is provided with a branch f which leads back to the filter compartments b, c and d and which can be opened by a flap I. Should z. B. the department b are cleaned, so this and another, z. B. c, be switched off from the gas supply α. This is done through the flaps g, g 1 (FIG. 2). Furthermore, the department to be cleaned b and the department c of the .Saugleitung m through the flaps h and h 1 must be switched off. For this, this department b must be connected to the pressure line f by opening the flap k , so that the exhaustor drives the gases extracted from the further working department d in countercurrent through the filter material in department b , from where they pass through a filter chamber located between the filter chambers Connecting line η in the normal direction through division c into a line 0 and through this either to a point of consumption or to a point on the pressure line e at which the pressure is lower than at the point of withdrawal. So department b is cleaned and the dust in department c is removed from the countercurrent effecting this cleaning, while department d continues to work undisturbed and no negative pressure can arise in department c.

This creates yet another security against negative pressure. The dust that has accumulated in the housings is removed in a known manner through floor flaps or drainage pipes or in any other way.

Für einen ununterbrochenen Betrieb sind also mindestens drei Abteilungen nötig.ίο to clean filters that clean the original dust air flow and whose operation is not interrupted; in the present case this would be the filter d. With the new method, however, this arrangement must not be made because the gas pressed by the exhaustor through line f into compartment b , if it flowed into compartment d , could still have so much pressure that dust gas could flow in from the line α would not take place and even a countercurrent would be possible in this line. In the case of blast furnace gases, the pressure of which fluctuates, the reverse could also occur. Therefore, a special department c must be used to clean the countercurrent from department b , which must be shut off from the supply of dust gases during the cleaning process. At least three departments are required for uninterrupted operation.
Through the pipe connections shown in the drawing, each department can alternate used to filter the dust gas flow or the counter flow or cleaned by yourself will. If you want certain departments only to clean the dust gas flow or use only to clean the countercurrent, the pipe connections can accordingly be simplified.
The method and the device can advantageously also be used for other gases, their mixture must be used with air for some reason.
