Das Patent 919 248 betrifft eine Kohlebürste, insbesondere für Kleinmaschinen, die unter der Wirkung einer einzigen im oberen Teil auf Druck, im unteren Teil auf Zug beanspruchten Wendelfeder in Verbindung mit einem sich gegen die Bürste abstützenden Isolierstück nach einem bestimmten Verschleiß ihre Stromzufuhr selbsttätig unterbricht. Die Erfindung bezweckt eine weitere Ausbildung des obigen Patentes. Bild 1 zeigt eine Ausführung der Abschaltvorrichtung gemäß dem Patent 919 248. Wird das als Abschaltstift 1 ausgebildete Isolierstück aus einem organischen Kunststoff ·— etwa Hartpapier — hergestellt, so kann es bei hohen Stromwendertemperaturen vorkommen, daß das untere Ende des Stiftes zu verkohlen beginnt, wenn die Bohrung 2 in der Kohle 4 vom Stromwender angeschliffen wird, so daß der Stift 1 mit ihm in unmittelbare Berührung kommt und daher durch Reibungswärme zusätzlich erhitzt wird. Das untere Stiftende nutzt sich dann ab, ehe die Bohrung 2 so weit aufgeschliffen ist, daß der Stift 1 hindurchtreten kann.
