Backblech-Reinigungsmaschine

Baking tray cleaning machine
The present invention relates to a baking tray cleaning machine which is provided in a known manner with rotating brush rollers. The known machines of this type have a horizontal movement path and for this reason are very expansive and bulky, so that they are not suitable for small and medium-sized businesses because they require a lot of space.
A baking sheet cleaning machine is also known in which the guide track in the closed housing runs slightly downwards at an angle. In this embodiment, however, the disadvantage of bulkiness and the large space requirement is not avoided, so that it is out of the question for small and medium-sized businesses.
The invention now avoids this disadvantage and is characterized by a guide track adjoining the known insertion slot, which is inclined more than 450, so that the sheets can be inserted from above and the operator needs almost no space for this manipulation.
In order to facilitate the laborious pulling out of the sheets with this construction. According to the invention, an elastic member is provided which causes the cleaned sheet metal to rise slowly.
Further details of the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. This represents a schematic section through such a baking tray cleaning machine.
The machine consists of a closed, preferably enamelled housing 1, which can be provided with a cover, and a rotating cleaning brush 2 which is arranged in this housing and which is driven by a motor 3. The motor is advantageously arranged on the cover in order to make it more easily accessible. The housing 1 has an insertion slot la for the baking trays at the top on one side. From this slot la a guide track 4 now leads obliquely downwards. According to the invention, the inclination of this guide track 4 is steeper than 450. This guide track can of course also be lowered.

The dimensioning of this elastic organ has to be done in such a way that the pulling force of the same is somewhat greater than the pushing force generated by the rotation of the brush on the baking sheet. This is because the baking sheet is

would tear. At the same time, this dimensioning ensures that the baking sheet, after it has been cleaned, slowly rises up again by itself when it is released at the lowest point. An automatic on / off switch is also arranged next to the slot, by means of which the motor is switched on when the sheet metal is pushed in and switched off when the sheet metal is removed. In the lower part of the housing there is a guide plate 7 and a drawer 8, known per se, 'in. which the brushed material falls and can be easily removed from the machine.
This design makes cleaning the entire device particularly easy.
Of course, as is known per se, the brush roller can be regulated in the contact pressure by adjusting spindles or springs; it can also be stored interchangeably.
