Description

Ich bin der Überzeugung, eine Möglichkeit gefunden zu haben, einen herkömmlichen Verbrennungsmotor (Otto/Einspritzer) mit einem Großteil Wasser umweltfreundlich betreiben zu können.
Meine Theorie
Anstelle von Benzin verwende ich ein Gemisch aus wasserverdünnbarem Brennstoff wie z. B., Methanol oder Ethanol (Brennspiritus) und H2O im Verhältnis 1 : 1,5-1 : 2.
Um das schwer entflammbare Gemisch für die Verbrennung vorzubereiten, muß es jedoch erwärmt werden (ca. 80°C) bevor es der Einspritzanlage zugeführt wird (Durchlauferhitzung).
Durch die Verbrennung der entzündlichen Inhaltsstoffe, die durch den Zündfunken eingeleitet wird, verdampft auch das Wasser, welches durch eine Ausdehnung den Kolben im Zylinder verdrängt.
Es ist vorstellbar, daß die so betriebenen Motoren bei entsprechender Feinabstimmung einen ähnlichen Wirkungsgrad erreichen, wie herkömmliche Benzinmotoren. Auch eine Umrüstbarkeit ist denkbar.
Eine praktische Realisierung ist in Zusammenarbeit mit der Redaktion Auto-Bild geplant.

Claims (4)

1. Neuartige Antriebstechnik von Otto-Motoren mit einem Gemisch aus Wasser und wasserverdünnbaren Brennmittel wie Methanol oder Ethanol (Spiritus).
  • 1. 1.2. Zum Ein- oder Umbau sind herkömmliche Otto-Motoren mit Direkteinspritzung geeignet.
2. Beim Motorstart wird reines Ethanol in den Brennraum gespritzt, parallel zur Betätigung des Anlassers. Das Wassergemisch ist gestoppt.
  • 1. 2.2. Vor der Anlaufphase muß das Gemisch aus Wasser und Ethanol (Mischungsverhältnis 1 : 1) im Einspritzsystem auf ca. 70-80°C erhitzt werden. (Durchlauferhitzung)
  • 2. 2.3. Wenn das Einspritzsystem die Betriebstemperastur erreicht hat, erübrigt sich die Erwärmung des Gemisches.
3. Durch die Verbrennung der entzündlichen Inhaltsstoffe, die durch den Zündfunken eingeleitet wird, verdampft auch das Wasser, welches durch seine Ausdehnung den Kolben im Zylinder verdrängt.
4. Bei entsprechender Feinabstimmung (Zündzeitpunkt bzw. Luftmenge) kann ein ähnlicher Wirkungsgrad wie bei der herkömmlichen Benzinverbrennung erreicht werden - jedoch viel umweltfreundlicher.
