Description
DEUTSCHESGERMAN
Threads made from regenerated cellulose, which are processed into particularly resistant woven or knitted fabrics or for technical purposes, especially as a tire cord, must be used alongside very good tensile strength and elasticity values also due to increased flexural strength and abrasion resistance so that they can cope with the high demands. Besides, there are also the humiliations the degree of swelling and an increase in the fatigue resistance are of great importance.
Attempts have been made in various ways to meet the demands made by technology and developed various processes by means of which it is possible to produce threads with a strong sheath zone, which is known to have good elasticity properties, low degrees of swelling and high strength values distinguish. The abrasion and flexural strength is achieved by spinning viscose with high gamma numbers and high use of carbon disulfide favorably influenced, but especially ao the latter measure is so uneconomical that a such a mode of operation cannot be seriously considered for large-scale production can. Good results are also obtained by adding monoamines with at least 4 carbon atoms for viscose and spinning in felling baths with a high zinc sulfate content. The additions of these substances should not be more than 4 millimoles per 100 g of viscose. These monoamines were also and about the same order of magnitude added to the spinning baths. The ones used in these ways of working Spinning baths contain zinc sulphate in amounts of 3 to 25%. However, these methods are also liable significant shortcomings, since the spinning conditions must be adhered to within a very narrow framework and in addition, there is only a small margin for the withdrawal speed. So you can if technical success is to be guaranteed, not at speeds greater than 20 bis 25 m / min take-off work.

Difficulties are absent and work is carried out with take-off speeds of 40 to 50 m / min and more without the technical success failing.
Der Faden wird sodann in einem zweiten, heißen, schwach, sauren Bad einer Verstrekkung von 80 bis 120%, vorzugsweise 50 bis 100%, unterworfen und kann danach auf eine Spule oder inThe isopropanolamine is added to the viscose in amounts of 0.06 to 0.4 percent by weight, preferably 0.10 to 0.15 percent by weight, specifically can this already happened when the xanthate was dissolved. The additions can be all customarily combined Viscose are added, as which are to be mentioned those with 7 to 8% cellulose and 5 to 7% NaOH. The spinning maturity of the viscose should not be below a gamma number of 42. The too The spinning baths used must contain zinc in amounts of at least 3.2%. The sodium sulfate content can be within the usual limits between 14 and 20%, while the sulfuric acid content should be chosen according to the NaOH content or slightly lower. Spinning bath temperature between 45 and 70 °. Very good results are obtained at a take-off speed of 40 to 50 m / min. The deduction can, however, be increased further if, with the aid of known means, it is ensured that the spinning bath is given a speed at least on the first distance behind the nozzle, which the thread speed is about the same, so that the friction between the thread and the spinning bath is largely is reduced. The length of the bath should be at least 30 cm. The thread is then in one second, hot, weakly acidic bath with an extension of 80 to 120%, preferably 50 to 100%, subjected and can afterwards on a reel or in

An Hand des nachfolgenden Beispiels wird das Verfahren näher erläutert:The spun by the process of the invention Threads have strengths of 400 to 42Q g / 100 den. You can by stretching on 430 to 460 g / 100 den are increased. The threads are special for use as a tire cord suitable due to the high shrinkage and abrasion value as well as an extremely low degree of swelling. Der fertige Faden hat Reißfestigkeiten von 4,4 g/den (trocken) und 3 g/den j(naß) und Dehnungswerte von 14% (trocken) und 27% (naß).Alkali cellulose from cotton linters or wood pulp with a high alpha-cellulose content is sulfided with 38 ° / "carbon disulphide 5 hours and dissolved the resulting xanthate viscose to a 7.4% cellulose and 5 0 Af-NaOH. During the dissolution, 0.1% isopropanolamine is added to the viscose. Then it is nitrated, vented and post-matured in the usual way and spun with a viscosity of 60 see spherical drop with a gamma number of 44. The spinning bath has a composition of 4.8% H 2 SO 1 , 4 % ZnSO 4 and 17% Na 2 SO 4 at a temperature of 60 °. The thread has 1000 single threads with a single titer of 1.65 denier and is guided over a distance of 65 cm in the spinning bath and drawn off from a godet at a speed of 21 m / min. The thread then passes through a second, slightly acidic bath, which has a temperature of about 90 °, and is drawn off at its end by a godet rotating at a speed of 42 m / min, so that the thread is stretched by 100%. From the second godet the thread runs into a centrifuge rotating at 4600 n / m, where it receives a thread of around 120 n / m. After washing and finishing, it is stretched by 8% and dried. The finished thread has tensile strengths of 4.4 g / den (dry) and 3 g / den j (wet) and elongation values of 14% (dry) and 27% (wet).
A viscose according to Example 1 is spun into a bath with the composition 5% H 2 SO 4 , 4% ZnSO 4 and 16% Na 2 SO 4 at a temperature of 60 °. A 120-hole nozzle is used; the threads have a single denier of 6 denier. After 100% drawing in a second hot bath, the thread is collected in a centrifuge. It has a tear strength of 4.2 g / den at an elongation of 15%.
Während ein normaler Zellwollfaden nach 600 Touren, ein Baumwollfaden nach 7000 Touren und ein für Reifenkord eingesetzter Faden bester Qualität nach 80 000 Touren durchgescheuert ist, hält ein erfindungsgemäß erzeugter Faden 250 000 TourenTesting the abrasion resistance of the threads produced according to the invention in comparison with other threads clearly show the substantial improvement achieved by the process. The measurement will carried out by placing a thread loaded with 30 g (with a total titer of 1650 denier) over a lays rotating roller at a speed of 100 n / m. While a normal rayon thread after 600 tours, a cotton thread after 7000 tours and a thread used for tire cord is best Quality is worn through after 80,000 tours, a thread produced according to the invention lasts 250,000 tours
