Diese Gläser haben deshalb nicht die gute optische Lage wie die Gläser nach der Erfindung, insbesondere ist bei ihnen die Dispersion in unerwünschtem Maße größer. Außerdem haben die vorbekannten Gläser einen Gehalt an Titanoxyd an Stelle des geforderten Gehaltes von Siliciumoxyd nach der vorliegenden Erfindung. Abgesehen davon, daß die bekannten Gläser, durch das Titanoxyd bedingt, auf jeden Fall eine Färbung aufweisen, bringt das Titanoxyd auch eine unerwünschte Erhöhung der Dispersion mit sich.Glasses which consist of at least 75 percent by weight of B 2 O 3 , La 2 O 3 and ZrO 2 are known from Swiss Patent 206,664.
