Abstract
The invention relates to a Scheelitflotation method that is applicable to all scheelithaltigen ores that can be processed by flotation. The scheelite flotation is carried out in a calcium ion concentration range of 20 to 50 mg / l, and the calcium ion concentration of the flotation stains is continuously measured. In the case of deviations from the stated range, if the calcium ion concentration is too high, chemical pretreatment by addition of soda or, if the calcium ion concentration is too low, chemical pretreatment by addition of a soluble calcium compound. The concentration is measured by means of a calcium-sensitive electrode.
Description
The invention relates to a method and Scheelitflotation. It is applicable to all shale-containing ores that can be treated by flotation.
I.D.; Obogascenie rud (Mechanobr), Leningrad (1983) 1,The Scheelitflotation, which is used for the enrichment of finely grown scheelithaltiger Wolframerze, can be used successfully only with correspondingly favorable mineral paragenesis of ore. In addition to scheelite (CaWO 4 ), these ores often contain other calcium minerals, such as calcite, dolomite, fluorite and apatite, which have very similar flotation properties due to the common cation calcium and are floated together into the concentrate (WALCHSHOFER, E .; Berg- und Hüttenmänn Mh., Vienna 126 (1981) 8, S.350-352). In the case of a very unfavorable calcium: tungstate ratio, if the carbonate and fluoride content is a multiple of the tungstate content (20 to 50 times), only very low scheelite enrichment in the concentrate occurs (IZOTKO, VM, USTINOW, ID, Obogascenie rud (Mechanobr ), Leningrad (1983) 1,
5. 23-27). Solche Konzentrate müssen dann entweder kostenintensiv hydrometallurgisch weiterverarbeitet oder ebenfalls mit hohen Kosten nachdem PETROV-Verfahren weiter flotativ angereichert werden (PETROV, N. S.; Nauönotechn. bjull. inst. Mechanobr (1956) 1, S. 16-18). Such concentrates must then either cost-intensive hydrometallurgically processed or also at high cost after PETROV process further flotation enriched (PETROV, NS, Nauöntechnique bjull inst Mechanobr (1956) 1, pp 16-18). A positive influence on Scheelitflotation by preventing the flotation of the accompanying minerals calcite, dolomite and fluorite by adding appropriate regulatory reagents (tannins, phosphates, hydrosols) (TAGGAPT, AF, Handbook of Mineral Dressing, New York 1945, p 12-121; MITROFANOV , SI: Selektivnaja flotacija, Moskva 1 & E8, pp. 627-635) also leads to obstruction of the scheelite flotation in calcareous and fluorite-rich poor scheelite soils, since the known pushers for dolomite, calcite and fluorite prevent the scheelite from flotation. To improve the selectivity of Scheelitflotation a pretreatment of the flotation pulp with Na 2 CO 3 is recommended in the literature, it by the addition of Na 2 CO 3 to a precipitation of CaCO 3 or MgCO 3 and thus to reduce the calcium or Magnesium ion concentration comes in the pulp. There is no indication in the literature or patent literature about the calcium or magnesium ion concentration required for scheelite flotation. The disadvantage of this pretreatment is that the soda addition is carried out by empirical investigations by flotation and not the most favorable for Scheelitflotation calcium ion concentration range can be maintained, whereby no stable flotation can be achieved.
Ziel der ErfindungObject of the invention
The aim of the invention is to develop a process for scheelite flotation, with which concentrates with a higher W0 3 content can be obtained, which reduces the costs of the subsequent hydrometallurgical process stages.
It is the object of the invention to develop a method by which stable flotation at higher enrichment or higher discharge is achieved in the flotation Scheeliterze with carbonate and fluorite-rich gangue. According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the Scheelitflotation performed in a calcium ion concentration range of 20 to 50mg / l and to the calcium ion concentration of the flotation pulp continuously measured and stalls in deviation from said range by chemical ore pretreatment. It is essential to the invention that if the calcium ion concentration is too high, the chemical pretreatment by addition of Na 2 CO 3 and Dei too low a calcium ion concentration, the chemical pretreatment by addition of a soluble Caiciumverbindung takes place. Furthermore, it is essential to the invention that a calcium ion-sensitive electrode is used for measuring the concentration; Scheelite flotation achieves a maximum of Scheelite enrichment and release in the calcium ion concentration range of 20 to 50 mg / l. This area is ore-dependent and must be determined in advance by flotation experiments. The calcium ion concentration is measured after the grinding and chemical pretreatment of the ore, since after the addition of reagents in the flotation pulp, the effect of the calcium-sensitive electrodes is impaired. The invention will be explained in more detail by means of exemplary embodiments.
Bei der Flotation eines Scheeliterzes, das u. a. 0,37% WO3,13,8% CaO, 10,96% AI2O3 und 49,9% SiO2enthielt, wurden mit 300g/t Natriumoleat als Sammler und 6500g/t Eisenhydrosol als Regler Konzentrate mit 4,03% WO3 bei einem Wolframausbringen von 46,0% erzielt.Flotation of a scheelite ore containing, inter alia, 0.37% WO 3 , 13.8% CaO, 10.96% Al 2 O 3 and 49.9% SiO 2 , was carried out using 300 g / t sodium oleate as a collector and 6500 g / t Iron hydrosol as a regulator concentrates with 4.03% WO 3 at a tungsten yield of 46.0%.
By adjusting the calcium ion concentration measured with a calcium-sensitive electrode to the required concentration of 30 to 40 mg / l, the WO 3 content of the concentrate could be increased to 4.94% and the tungsten yield increased from 46.0 to 74.6% , The adjustment of the required calcium ion concentration was carried out by adding Na 2 CO 3 , since the original concentration t> 50 mg / l was Ca ions.
After milling a scheelite ore with 0.48% WO 3 ; 20.3% CaO; 7.8% Al 2 O 3 ; 54.6% SiO 2 and 12.3% Fe 2 O 3 in the millet a calcium content of 320 mg / l was measured. After draining and pretreating the ore with 10OOg / t Na 2 CO 3 , the calcium ion content dropped to 8 mg / lab. Under these conditions, only 2-fold WO 3 enrichment was achieved in the following Scheelite flotation with a 40.6% WO 3 yield. By adding CaCl 2 before the flotation and setting a calcium ion concentration in the flotation pulp of 40 mg / l, an almost 6-fold WO 3 enrichment with a simultaneous increase in yield to 75.8% was achieved.
The examples confirm that by adjusting the most favorable calcium ion concentration for scheelite flotation, there is a substantial increase in the yield and an improvement in the Scheelite enrichment. At the same time, flotation is stabilized by measuring and adjusting the calcium ion concentration.
