Description
The invention relates to a process for the early removal of cotton accompanying substances and the sizing agents used in the pretreatment of Bai woolen fabrics in textile finishing.
Wachse u.a. DE-PC 941190 (1949), DEPS 974641(1962), DE-PS 207 366(1958) bekannt. In the processing of cotton in the textile industry, there is a problem in the low wettability of the cotton fiber, caused by natural accompanying substances of cotton, such as hemicelluloses, lignin. Waxes, etc. These substances are not removed by desizing with 'a-amylases (see below). Removal is only achievable with the aid of alkaline treatment. In the process, the desizing products are destroyed or denatured and thus removed from further utilization. In addition, this process is associated with a considerable wastewater load. Thus, what is needed is a desizing process based on enzymatic hydrolysis which allows for both conventional desizing and removal of the cotton co-ingredients, permits recovery of the desizing products and regulates in a drastic reduction of wastewater sludge. Enzymatic desizing agents are already in the form of pancreatic amylases as described in DR-PS 707937 (1934), DR-PS 674184 (1936). DE-PC 941190 (1949), DEPS 974641 (1962), DE-PS 207 366 (1958). This z. T. stabilizers such as Ce-salt or carcass blood added. Malt enzymes are described in DE-PS 967072 (1952), diastase in DE-AS 1135867 (1969) and the enzyme »us the yeast juice of Untergärigen brown yeast In DD-WP 32743 (1960). In the longest time biotechnologically produced bacterial a-amyiases have been demonstrated as enzymatic desizing agents, as set out in DE-PS 207356 (1958), CH-PS 224994 ', 19601, DE-PS 2148701 (1971), DDAP 92219 (1971) DE-OS 2836616 (1978), DE-OS 31249R 1 (1981). Such methods using bacterial α-amylase preparations are shown in DB-PS 23781/69 and DD-PS 86027. DEAS 2909 396 (1979) mentions the use of bacterial high tempsra'.ur-a-amylase. An application in emulsion with organic solvents is described in GBPS 30216/68, DE-AS 1932235 (1969), CH-PS 622781 (1969) and OE-PS 309379 (1969). Simultaneous enzymatic removal of strong deniers and cotton backings has not been described.
Fungal desizing enzymes are characterized by a broader spectrum of side activity and are not used on an industrial scale. The use of cellulase reparatan leads one to expect undesirable tree wall hydrolysis. However, it has been shown by experiments that, with suitable cultivation, a cvllulase complex having the required properties can be obtained and used.
The object of the invention is to develop a process for the enzymatic desizing, by means of which at the same time cotton supporting substances are removed in one step. The desizing products should be produced in such a quality that enables biotechnological utilization. By replacing the alkali treatment and removing the desizing products, the wastewater load should be reduced.
The invention is based on the specification to develop a method by which at the same time the starch used for sizing and the cotton-accompanying substances can be removed in the pretreatment of cotton fabrics in the textile industry. The hydrolysis products of starch, hemoluble, glucan etc. should be made available for biotechnological use.
