Abstract

The invented bedding for petty animals has the form of granules of circular cross section that are produced from waste of sanitary articles serving for absorbing body fluids of humans. The bedding contains more than 50 percent by weight of cellulose, 0.1 to 1 percent by weight of absorbent, 5 to 17 percent by weight of gypsum, 3 to 15 percent by weight of a partially plasticized polyolefin. In the bedding there might be added 0.1 to 0.2 percent by weight of a wetting agent aromatic substance. The bedding density is in the range from 250 to 450 kg/me3. Granule height does not substantially differ from diameter thereof.
