A package having means for marking the opening of the package, said means comprising an engraved inscription located astride the sealing means applied to the package closure and intended to be removed and thereby broken upon opening, and an adjacent portion of the container or closure so that when the sealing the part is removed during opening, the two parts of the inscription are separated.
