Abstract
Η εφεύρεση σχετίζεται με μέθοδο για την στερεοεπιλεκτική παρασκευή παραγώγων αμινοξέων, περιλαμβάνοντας αντίδραση ενέχοντας την υδρογόνωση ένωσης έχοντας τον χημικό τύπο (III), ή εναλλακτικώς του εναντιομερούς εξ αυτής, στην οποία το R είναι (C1-C8)-αλκύλιο, ακολουθούμενα από αντίδραση υδρόλυσης προκειμένου να παραχθεί η L-μεσιτυλαλανίνη, ή εναλλακτικώς το εναντιομερές εξ αυτής, D-μεσιτυλαλανίνη, και στο οποίο η εν λόγω ένωση μπορεί να υποβληθεί προαιρετικώς σε μία αντίδραση προστασίας αμινομάδας, ειδικότερα δε της Fmoc. Η εφεύρεση σχετίζεται επίσης και με την Fmoc-L- ή Fmoc-D-μεσιτυλαλανίνη ως προϊόντα καθ' εαυτά, τα οποία μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν ως ενδιάμεσα προϊόντα στην παρασκευή πεπτιδίων ή αναλόγων πεπτιδίων με θεραπευτική ή βιολογική δραστηριότητα.
