Abstract
Η μηχανή ανάκτησης ενέργειας από κυματισμό σαν τέτοια κατασκευάζεται με τέτοιο τρόπο που είναι ικανή να χρησιμοποιεί τη δύναμη της κίνησης προς τα πάνω από τα κύματα (εικόνα 1) με τη δύναμη από τον πλωτήρα (1) και το βραχίονα ζυγού (3) μέσω του σωλήνα βραχίονα ζυγού (4), όπου παρέχονται ένα ή περισσότερα έδρανα ασφάλισης, τα οποία μεταφέρουν τη δύναμη της κίνησης προς τα πάνω που προκαλεί τον καθοδηγητικό άξονα δύναμης (8) να περιστρέφεται στην ίδια κατεύθυνση. Σε κάθε καθοδηγητικό άξονα δύναμης (8) μπορούν να υπάρχουν ο ένας μετά τον άλλο συναρμολογημένοι πλωτήρες, βραχίονες ζυγού και σωλήνας βραχίονα ζυγού με έδρανα ασφάλισης μετά τον άλλο, και πολλοί καθοδηγητικοί άξονες δύναμης (Εικόνα 6) (6.7,8 και 9) μπορούν να διασυνδέονται οριζοντίως και καθέτως σε οδοντωτό τροχό (1, 2, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, και 14) που δείχνονται εδώ με 4 καθοδηγητικούς άξονες δύναμης, αλλά γενικά μπορούν να διασυνδέεται οποιοσδήποτε αριθμός αξόνων. Η ολική δύναμη από τους καθοδηγητικούς άξονες δύναμης μπορεί να μεταφέρεται στο κιβώτιο μετάδοσης κίνησης και την ηλεκτρογεννήτρια και να χρησιμοποιείται στην παραγωγή ηλεκτρισμού. Τρεις μηχανές ανάκτησης ενέργειας από κυματισμό μπορούν π.χ. να διασυνδέονται για να σχηματίζουν π.χ. ένα αστέρι, έτσι ώστε η δύναμη από τις τρεις μηχανές ανάκτησης ενέργειας από κυματισμό να μπορούν να συγκεντρώνονται μαζί στο σημείο αστεριού, όπου τοποθετούνται το κιβώτιο μετάδοσης κίνησης και η ηλεκτρογεννήτρια, (βλέπε εικόνα 9). Εναλλακτικά, πολλά σημεία αστεριού διασυνδέονται, όπως δείχνεται για να σχηματίσουν π.χ. ένα εξάγωνο.
